I shared this with Gail, and I think it made her feel better about not going. Her daughter Emily is a calm, quiet kid. She makes friends, but not immediately, and our daughter is usually like that too. I told her I knew of kids (Charlotte's) that just didn't click with the clubs this time, mainly because there were SO MANY KIDS! They hit their limits for kids, and were only booking adult cabins at the end, did you all know that? Kids that already knew someone, or who are able to barrel in and get attention, did OK. Many others did not. So I think another cruise at a different time of year would be very different for some of your kids. Our daughter seemed to decide that she would be the "life of the party" from the get-go this time, and she made friends quickly. She told me that she was sitting in the Stack the first night, calling over kids that didn't seem to know anyone, asking their names etc, including them in the group. Amazing, not the same kid we cruised with last year AT ALL. And she had a really good time, a little up and down. She's a teen, after all.
Tina, Alicia said your son kind of stuck with the teen group, when they would let him. Too bad he didn't get acquainted with Jared, who was doing the same thing!
Virgil, hope you looked at our pics. There's a really good one of your beautiful family in funny hats. Use the scroll on the left side of the page to look through the snapshots. There are lots of fish pics on ours, too.
We got tagged, once. Don't remember who we passed it along to.
