Good Morning all!

Can't believe this all started 18 months ago for some of us.

That fateful morning of June 23, 2003 when the cruise went on sale

Getting thru on the phone at exactly 8am, when they first opened up this voyage.

Finding out that the Cat 1,2, and 3's were already sold out, despite me faxing in my request 10 days earlier.

OhioMinnie starts this thread ..........

Over 23,000 posts later ---- and we are all actually going to be on the ship in about 54 hours.

This is all too weird ...... so surreal. (wipes away tear...... LOL)

See ya all soon .......

- David

And a TOP as well !!

Thanks, Therese, Stacey, and Mark. Your input really helps, as does the support. I'm waiting for Joe to get home from running erands but I suspect, based on an earlier discussion before he left the house, that we'll get on with the plans we have right now, even if he ends up being a little moody on the trip. As I said before, this is a significant trip for us, and there is nothing to be gained from going to CT -- he'll try to call tomorrow and have his family put the phone to grandma's ear so she can hear him. So it looks like we're still going, keep your fingers crossed -- am I really selfish to feel this way???

Dee, relax and enjoy your vacation. Time with your DH is so important. Sounds like there are plenty of people around grandma to help. My great aunt passed away while my parents were on a vacation when I was young. My dad was sad that he wasn't at the funeral, but it was one of the few vacations he and my mom ever took without 5 kids and he said he cherished the memories from that time with mom.

Okay, guys....you KNOW that we have to get to 24,000 before we leave......who's ready for an all-nighter??

Just kidding. But, after I get home from work tomorrow....I plan on doing nothing but sitting here, even if I do talk to myself!

I'll be here too....we fly down late Friday afternoon and arrive at MCO at 9:45pm

Me too, soooo tempted to bring the H/PC for the two days we won't have any other access, but dunno if it'll even connect to the high speed at WDW, don't think so.

You need to bring the H/PC so I can take a look and play with it a little.

GOOD THURSDAY MORNING CRUISERS!!!

No more sleeps at home for us. Tomorrow morning we will wake up at the GF. (Well, some of us will  )

For those of you traveling today hope you have a safe and pleasant journey. (I know most of you have already left)

Once I get the girls off to school I am going to get my nails done then home to load up the SUV and wait for the girls to get home from school.

Have a great day!

Mark or Mary - are you flying out of O'Hare (sp?) ? If so, what time and airlines? Rich is connecting in Chicago tomorrow morning. He will arrive around 7:20 and then leave out again around 9:20. Not that you are going to run around the airport looking for him but just thought your paths might cross.

Wee bit too late, we fly at 7:05. We'll be in the air before he gets there. Oops.

The weather in Key West is looking better and better. I am watching our weather report for Sunday here in Iowa and the high is supposed to be 11° and the low is going to be 0°. :earseek: That's right a nice big goose egg, plus the wind is going to be blowing so who knows how cold it will feel out side.

That's okay, just thought I would check. You and Mary have a great flight and we will see you soon.

Gotta go get the girls ready for school. I will check back in before we leave.

Good Morning Everyone -
Haven't been sleeping well - then got up early today so that I could get to school early- only to be greeted by several fire trucks at the school entrance. Turns out there was a small electrical fire in the cafeteria. We stood outside for @ 45 min in the cold. (Okay, it was only about 55, but remember we are in West Palm Beach and that's REALLY COLD for us!) Couldn't believe how many parents just drove up, saw all the teachers milling around, fire trucks all over and then just proceeded to drop their kids off in the street. Ended up serving the kids cold breakfast in the courtyard and school was off and running. Our last day isn't until next Thursday (of course, I'll miss them).
We still haven't finished packing. I'm taking tomorrow off to do that and last minute errands. We'll have the car packed and pick DS up at school at 2:30, jump on 95 and head to the Cape. DD has her last final at UF tomorrow afternoon; will say a tearful goodbye to the boyfriend and meet us at the Radisson.
See everyone really soon.
Cindy

The bags are packed (almost) and I'm ready to go!!! We leave tomorrow morning @ 7:15am.

We are looking forward to meeting everyone Saturday! :cheer2: :wizard:

Mary -- I hope the crown goes okay.

Have safe trips everyone -- tomorrow the girls will pop right out of bed (just like Christmas --- well it really is Christmas) and we'll sleep at AKL --- it will be great to be back to our Happy Place!

See ya Saturday :flower:

Cindy

At least you HOPE she will say goodbye to him, and meet you! "Lisa" thinks if it were her, she'd run off to Mexico with the boyfriend! :teleport:

Shared a T.O.P. with Cindy!!! I think that's a first.

Well, our numbers are dwindling.....but in a good way.

We will be leaving the house at around 7 a.m. or so tomorrow (Can you even picture ME leaving the house that eary??!!)
it's rush hour traffic time, and I refuse to miss this plane!!

Decided to pay the property taxes now that aren't due until March. We could use the deductions. So, I'm doing that, and then heading in to do payroll, set up a few things for Justin, and maybe I'll have time to come back here for a while before I get Jordan to take her to get her hair trimmed.

Even though I am reading about everyone leaving, I still don't believe it. Not till I see Mickey!!

Hi all,
We are off to the airport today for our long flight to Florida. :cool1: :cool1:
We will be at the Hyatt tonight and then at the Radisson tomorrow. Look us up if anyone is there too. Last name is Escola. We plan on hanging by the pool.(weather permitting). I hear its going to rain today.

we are too excited. did we pack everything? am I going to forget something and remember just as the plane lifts off? Is the cat going to be ok? My gosh I need a drink. :drinking1 Oh thats right I'm an airline drinker. Oh heck I'm a vacation drinker.

See you all soon. CHEERS- D

Have a safe trip Denise! See you Saturday!

I guess that's one advantage the "cold weather" east-coasters have.....shorter flight to the Mouse House!!:(
