Got home after a late meeting, tried calling home and DW cell phone to see what's up with the planned rehersal, thought we could do dinner. No answer at either phone. Oh, well!

I get home and after a few Diana calls. I say "what's going on?"

She says: "Didn't you read it on the thread?"


My DW is a Thread-a-Holic!!!!!! I have to read the cruise thread to find out what my family is up to.


Where's that carafe????

2. Some people aren't worth the effort. Regardless of what you say, their mind is closed and that is it. They just are not worth the effort which is why I did not respond in the post!

3. I'm glad to be going on the cruise with all of you.

• 12/17 – MK and MVMCP. 4:30 PM LTT dinner – do we have a DIS meet planned? I thought I saw something about cell phone #s, but it’s all a blur…
• 12/18 – ummm…not sure…let me think…I know I’m doing something that day…
• 12/28 – BCV here we come, if they can get me off the ship. Good luck, DCL!
• 1/1 – Fly home. Unless we win the lottery, in which case I’m taking another cruise!

Dee - someone may have answered this already because I haven't caught up yet. Yes, we do have a couple of meets scheduled for MVMCP on the 17th. We have a mini-meet scheduled around 4:30 or 5pm at LTT. There are several of us with reservations around this time. And then we decided to meet at the old Swan Boat Landing around 8:30 or 8:45pm to watch the 9:15 showing of Wishes. If you would like my cell phone number in case we have trouble meeting up just PM me.

Rex will be 12 in March. Tink & Woody are 2-1/2 (littermates) Jessie was 4-1/2... she had a rare form of cancer in her snout and we had to take her yesterday afternoon to be put to sleep, it had invaded her nasal cavity to the point where she was having difficulty breathing. It's been a rough 4 months.

Leslie - I am so sorry to here about Jessie. I know it has been tough on you and it's a hard decision to make. Sending a big and some pixie dust your way.

That's ok, you should have heard the warnings Lisa received before we met with Ohiominnie and family from her best gym buddy - Lucy. After Lisa tried to explain who she and I were meeting at the Magic Kingdom "Ohiominnie and Ohiomickey and their two kids KT and Nick. Their friends from the "board"" Lucy told her not to go, that she thought meeting these people was too dangerous. Thankfully, we went and had a great time with them.

I hear ya!! We tell our kids "never meet anyone in person that you talk to on the internet" and then we go and do it!!

DM got the go from her cardio doc today. He said to take extra lasix along and if she got short of breathe or legs swelled to double up on it. and STAY AWAY FROM THE SALT

Good news all around! I'm supposed to lie around and stay away from all situations where I could become the victim of an episode of excess gravitational force.

OK......here is my confession.

I just skipped the last 29 pages without reading them.
I can not read them to catch up, as at this point I admit I should be getting ready for the trip and not spending the time on the computer.

Believe it or not I actually laid some things out for packing, but as of yet not put anything in our suitcases.
We had to borrow another 2 suitcases just in case I run out of room.

I've decided to only pack two bottles of wine ( and not 4 bottles ) plus bring my Bloody Ceasars Premix as well. I just don't want any problems with the Customs officer.
I'll buy more wine at the wine store in Port Canaveral.

Panic is starting to set in............ Will we be ready in time?????

I can't help feeling a little overwhelmed these days with trying to get everything ready.
We are both working the next 6 days and when we are home the kids seem to take up every opportunity to pack plus shopping for Christmas on top of that.
I'm sure everyone is going through the same thing, I shouldn't be complaining.

Anyways......For those people who are leaving early ( Angie and GaRry ) and I'm sure there are others, please travel safely.

I really can not wait to meet each and every one of you and I am so looking forward to getting away on this trip.

Forgive me if I do not check in as often as in the past, it is down to the wire for us. Sadly to say, I am going to miss many pages of discussion from here on in.

It has been a very pleasurable addiction for me as well and will be tough not to read the pages typed here in this last week.
I can truly say it has been a pleasure to meet all of you on-line and can't wait to finally meet you all in person.
We are going to have 10 great days of unforgetful fun.

Thankyou everyone for BEING who you are, and making this thread the record breaking best. We certainly have something special going on here.

The best, the longest, the most posts, the most replys ( what else ) I'm sure there is something else.

One more thing I'm worried about........
At the Toronto Airport when we go through the US Customs prior to flying down to Florida.
I am hoping the Customs officer does not ask to many questions and spoil my BIG surprise.
I was thinking maybe going ahead of the family and giving him/her the heads up about the trip and then signaling the rest of the family to the counter after I have a few words with him/her. I have to cover all the bases.

I've been trying and trying to get into chat. My stupid stupid dial up is in super slow mode (must be all of 24kbytes!) so it just won't load. Just getting to this page took about 8 minutes.
