ORNAMENT EXCHANGE

We were at wal*mart. The kids decided they wanted to get ornaments for the ornament exchange. Then KT said "it's too bad we'll be the only kids there."

SO there is the challenge.....get your KIDS to the ornament exchange!!!! ;)

OVER THE DOOR SHOE HOLDER

Who was it that was having trouble finding an over the door shoe holder (I'm so bad with names--thank goodness we'll have buttons!!)

Anyway, I picked up an extra at Wal*mart today if you are interested. I can bring it along. It's a 24 pocket holder. Cost $10.50.

Let me know. If you don't want it, I'll just return it, but I'd rather know before I drag it down there. :)

Here's a confession, sort of. We have travelled to WDW many times since 1999, our first trip. I joined the DIS boards in July 2001, before we really got into it, DVC, cruising, et al. We have never been involved in any DIS meets, though we could have had the opportunity. Just stuck to our little family, except for one time when some friends from here were at WDW at the same time. But this year, we have met up several times with new friends from this thread, plus once in Vegas. And it was so much FUN! I told DH that going to WDW would never be the same.

So if I PM you out of the blue , knowing that you will be there the same time as us, asking if you want to meet.... Please know that I used to be "normal". It's just this thread that's made me crazy.

:cool2: Monday, 12/13 - I am flying down to WDW on Monday for a 2 day business meeting/conference at the Boardwalk - YEAH!!! Or is this trip a last minute cruise/Disney supply shopping boondoggle at WDW!!! Oops, forgot I am supposed to be working!!! Look out Downtown Disney - I'll be picking up those last minute items at the World of Disney after my meetings.

Wednesday, 12/15 - Fly back to Atlanta on Wednesday evening

Thursday, 12/16 - Work again :badpc: , and then "Family packing mania"!!! Sounds like it should be some sort of new game show???

:moped: Friday, 12/17 - 2:30pm sharp - Picking up DW :teacher: , DS and DD from school and driving to Orlando. Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Orlando Airport

:boat: Saturday, 12/18 - See you at the DCL terminal around 10:30am

:sad2: Tuesday, 12/28 - Driving back to Atlanta :charac2:

Good afternoon everyone :wizard:

Our itinerary: (so far anyway)
12/16 DH posts grades for the semester as quick as possible and we get the heck out of here and head to the MouseHouse....driving.

12/17 Hang around the MouseHouse while they fix the outside GFI outlets.... then hopefully Candlelight processional at Epcot for a final kick of holiday spirit.

12/18 Barring any surprise pin release at WDW... head to the port early and get in line behind the Scubas. I will be the one toting the pin bags.
Noon/oneish: Run for Palo ressies then eat tons of those wonderful shrimp in Parrot Cay.

12/28 Cry and cling to the rail of the ship since I won't want to get off. Once they throw me over the side.. head to WDW for DVC Merry Member Mixer. Have not "skated over to dvcmember.com" yet for the info... anyone know when and where this is being held? Then head back south to pick up the babies, turn around and head right back to spend New Years at the MouseHouse. We'll be there until 1/2/05

The mixer is at the International Gateway (EPCOT, BCV / BWV entrance) 3-5 PM.

So I can't catch up...let's see what I did see so far (and how I can boost my post count to 300):

Jeri, I was sorry to read about the break-in...not sure if you posted a follow-up, but I hope things are more settled now.

You can order them on line. Just PM as a reminder and I'll give you the stores name (I'm at the office listening to Margaritaville Radio before heading out).

Leslie:

How old are your dogs? I know you said Jessie is getting up there. Our golden retriever, Sebastian, is about 12 years old. We got him from Golden Retriever Rescue when he was about 18 months old. He's starting to slow down and is really getting gray in the face.
