Run to Mike. He loves techy stuff like that and will be more than happy to help! Just make sure before he leaves that you actually try it for yourself. On more than one occasion he's shown me how to do something and as soon as he's gone I forget what it was! :)
DH Dennis is also very into this stuff. He takes senior portraits, does weddings, model shoots, etc. He will love to help you play with your new toy.

I was playing with the new camera last night. I figured out how to take a picture and how to delete a picture. Close enough!
Turns out, it wasn't the one that I thought I had picked. I was trying to choose between two cameras, and opted for the smaller, easier one. I guess I gave them the tag for the bigger, more complicated one....'cause that's what they sent me.
Warning to camera experts: I will be asking for help! If you see me coming with camera in hand, run the other way as fast as you can!!!
OK, what make and model did you end up getting?

It remains to be seen, but you'll probably be happier with the nicer camera. I (maybe being a guy has something to do with this) have never regretted getting the "better" piece of equipment.

You all that are voluteering your husbands might be sorry --- there might be a line of us new digital camera owners looking for help. We just got ours in June and have had great luck with outside pics, but not so good with inside. I intend to practice before we leave, but I intend to do alot of things and I don't know how high up on the list that is!!!

Our motto: You get what you pay for!

We typically buy the best we can afford at the time. Esp with tech stuff...they come out with newer better stuff so fast that if you buy a mediocre thing, pretty soon it's the junk thing!

Quick question about the Bahamas immigration form. Do my kids (12, 13, 15) sign them or do I sign them? We just went in June and I cannot remember what we did.

Thanks, Judy

I always sign the kids forms (10,14) because they are under 18. I don't know if that is correct, that's just what I have done in the past.

I have so much I could say about your post :earseek: :earseek: , but DW will be checking in soon.

DW would tell me something like "get your mind out of the gutter..."

There have been a couple of posts this morning that forced me to restrain my response....

I'm always afraid to type what I think because you never know how it will come out....but during a cruise it all might come out.

Thanks for sharing your top.

I prefer not talking about your equipment on the board, unless we are talking about scuba equipment.

What kind of excursions are you all going on? I can't never decide on these things, so I just procrastinate and then has to choose whatever is left. Not that I am complaining, but I would rather plan ahead. :D
Welcome roly! Glad you found us. My family (me - 40, DH - 47, DD - 12 almost 13, and DS - 11) are doing the following excursions.

Key West - wandering on our own
St. Martin - Shipwreck Cove snorkling through DCL
St. Lucia - Horseback riding on the beach. Booked it directly with International Riding stables ($170 for 4 of us for 2 hours, and they pick up at the dock)
Antigua - DD and DH are doing the stingray snorkling excursion, and DS and I are taking the ECO tour, both through DCL
St. Thomas - wandering on our own, probably take a taxi to Coral World
CC - DS and DH are going deep sea fishing, but I know that's sold out.

Hope you find something you enjoy! Lisa

HAPPY WEDNESDAY EVERYONE!

Thanks to all for not posting another 33 pages of posts last night!!!!

I can check off my list:

Haircut (and color-had to get rid of that gray so I looked young again!)
Dentist (good check up and now my teeth are clean and sparkly!)
Suitcases up from basement
Check request turned in for employee reimbursements (my little extra spending money on the side!)

Okay, I'm slowly getting there!

Linda
