Also bought the two grandsons pirate hats and had "Cap'n Nick" and "Pirate Porter" embrodiered on them. They do the machine embrodiery free on main street. When walking into Magic Kingdom, 1st store on right is candy store, to the side of the candy store is the hat shop. (someone else will know the official name......like Mary or Mark!!)

The hat shop is called Le Chapeau (sp?). It is the only place on property that will embroider your hats for free.

Our family (myself, spouse and two kids - age 2 and 7) will be on the 12/18 sailing. We're looking forward to this a great deal.

I've been reading a bit and I know these have probably both been covered in previous messages, but given the number of messages in this thread and no search function, I figured it would be OK to ask again.

1) Dress code for dinners - I can't find any information about how many nights of each attire will be on this cruise due to its non-standard length. Can anyone detail it? Need to know how many nice outfits to pack.

2) December Movies - does anyone know which movies are playing on board for this cruise? We're hoping to see National Treasure and The Incredibles, actually saved the later for the cruise.

Other than that, we're just about ready to go. Still haven't decided what to do in Antigua and St. Lucia, but ready to go!

There will be one semi-formal night - 12/25 and one formal night 12/26.

Both movies you want to see are playing and should still be playing when we get on board......

I was on the phone today with DCL to find out what my dinner rotation was, and I asked how many formal nights on this cruise and they told me 3, one formal and 2 semi formal. But they couldn't tell me which nights.

I also asked about the "rumored" fireworks and her reply that it was a good possiblity...............

I wish they would publish this information..............

why is it such a secret??

That is interesting about the formal/semi formal. Could the "other" semi formal be one of the theme nights "to be announced", I wonder?

Geeeeez! You guys have been talking away! Did anyone read the thread from Shirley on the main board? She said they are expecting cold weather next week. Oh well, just my luck. Almost all set to go next Thursday. Just a few last minute things to pack. Celebrating Christmas this weekend with my family. What are you guys going to do on the cruise--no T.O.P. to fight for? You'll probably be standing on the tables or chairs to be higher up than the rest when you're talking.

hey everyone it's been a few days! hope everyone is doing well. we're almost there!

anyways...i have a huge favor to ask...is there anyone who will be going to disney world before the cruise at all? preferably the magic kingdom. if anyone is going and wouldn't mind picking up something for me (i will pay you back and love you forever) please let me know! there is something i want to get my dad for christmas from there.

It seems the more I get done , the more I have to do!

It doesn't help kids are home sick. Had to go pick Jason up from school and Kristen never went.
Managed to get a few things done today.
Furnace got a check up.
Shipped Christmas package to Texas.
Went to the bank for cash. Sorted tip money ( do you guys do large bills or break it down? )
Picked up Sam's tux pants from cleaners.
Went to the gym
Took my van into the dealership for service ( the stupid check engine light is on )

But I still need to pack and clean the house.

Okay I am done venting, taking deep breaths.
Think I will go soak in the tub and have an attitude adjustment.
Calgon take me away..........

Tina, I think your kids may have sent their germs down our way. Both kids got up just after going to bed and visited the porcelain god. Not good! DD has her choir concert tomorrow, and I reminded her that it's a BIG part of her music grade. So now I'm awake waiting for them to fall asleep. Kind of hoping it was just something they ate at the oriental buffet. Although the only thing that both of them ate was the sherbert, and I don't know if you could get contaminated frozen stuff.

Sometime DM makes me crazy. I am her primary care giver and she lives in my home. She gets around pretty well in familiar surroundings and she has been on Magic and Wonder enough to know where places are. I hope you will not think me a b***h when I leave her alone. Just need some space sometimes.
