HI everyone, well is anyone besides me

STRESSED?????

It seems the more I get done , the more I have to do!

It doesn't help kids are home sick. Had to go pick Jason up from school and Kristen never went.
Managed to get a few things done today.
Furnace got a check up.
Shipped Christmas package to Texas.
Went to the bank for cash. Sorted tip money ( do you guys do large bills or break it down? )
Picked up Sam's tux pants from cleaners.
Went to the gym
Took my van into the dealership for service ( the stupid check engine light is on )

But I still need to pack and clean the house.

Okay I am done venting, taking deep breaths.
Think I will go soak in the tub and have an attitude adjustment.
Calgon take me away..........

Wow, unexpected top. I feel better already!

Hi all - back from the dentist. Well the news ins't as good as I hoped. I may need a crown. I've got a temporary in now (and a very numb mouth) and I need to go back on Friday. Fun, fun, fun.

Gonna try to get out this evening to buy bubble wrap, Bubbles ( having trouble locating it believe it or not ), eye patches, pirate hat and a big hook for my hand.

I feel like a kid again......I guess Disney does that to people.

Gus

Gus,
If you are going to be at the Magic Kingdom. The Pirates of the Caribbean shop carries those things, or at least they used to. Someone correct me if I am wrong. ( well not the bubble wrap or bubbles )

Both Osco and Walgreens has bubblewrap with the school/office supplies aisle. (wait you're in canada, you probably don't have those up there. oops. Anyplace that has office/school supplies would be my first choice.)
But if you just want to pop some, here ya go!

As far as blowing bubbles, Don't worry, at last count we have at least 72 bottles of bubbles coming, think there will be enough to go around.

Here is something to think about and look forward to.

I just opened up all our pato doors because it is 75 degrees and beautiful out tonight. A perfect night for cruising.

Just a few more days and you, hopefully, can put your coats away.

You may be stressed but you sure are productive, way to go. Yes, I was unexpectedly called to sub for the Kindergarden teacher.....I am going to upgrade her Christmas gift, she deserves it :D

Enjoy it while you got it. Here's the long range.

Now to us up north, this'll be downright balmy.

I thought the point was to get two full meals in him every night. Is he starting to doubt his super human powers?

I have confidence he will eat two meals. He just won't eat two of the same meals.

When he gets the menu each night, he likes to look at it and say "It looks good, just bring it all on".

Stepped outside here tonight to also find it a nice 68 degrees out and the sun was shining before it set. Beautiful day after all the storms blew out. So how many of us here live in a no winter area? Me, scuba diver, and who else?

Matt

Hi all. Gee it is FOGGY out.

Does anyone have the web address for Key West PORT CAM (oops)? I did a search and got some odd stuff.

I want to call my family and wave to them so the port cam can pick us up

GUS.......................WHEN WE WERE AT PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN ON NOV. 8 THAT IS WHEN WE BOUGHT THE EYE PATCHES, THE HOOKS, THE SWORDS (PLASTIC OF COURSE) AND ALL OUR OTHER STUFF.

Also bought the two grandsons pirate hats and had "Cap'n Nick" and "Pirate Porter" embrodiered on them. They do the machine embrodiery free on main street. When walking into Magic Kingdom, 1st store on right is candy store, to the side of the candy store is the hat shop. (someone else will know the official name......like Mary or Mark!!)

DH even bought me chains and handcuffs. What was he thinking?

That sounds fun. We could all do a big wave!!!!

Headed to dance studio, then home. I'm sure the night shift will be checking in shortly!!!!

One day closer!

Mary, sorry to hear this. As if you do'nt have enough going on! A couple of years ago I needed a root canal/crown. They put on the temporary crown, but in the mean time I had a Disney trip planned. I had to be so careful not to eat anything too sticky! I was so sad watching the parade without my big caramel apple! :(

Well, busy day today. School all morning. Then haircuts and some errands. Then came home and "wrapped" all of our presents (well, actually "bagged" them) And we ate dinner and celebrated Christmas. It was very nice. All are pleased with what they got! Yes, Virgil, KT got her iPod! She's VERY happy!

We'll have to see what Santa delivers to the ship. The thing KT had asked for was just too big for his sleigh, so she got it from us instead. Hmmm...wonder what he'll bring. Probably something alot smaller!!! ;) Just a hunch!

Thank you to all of you who have confessed to having in-law "issues". I thought we were alone with that problem. Karen, don't feel bad if the grandparents don't make it to Nick's performance. Lisa has been in gymnastics since she was three years old. She is currently a level 8 gymnast (10+ called elite are the ones you see on TV). The only time they come see Lisa compete is when Jim "insists" they attend - which is at times more trouble than its worth. Jim's Mom still asks from time to time if Lisa is at Aerobics (sp??). She is at the Gym 5 nights a week and they can't seem to find an evening when they can watch her practice at least. They live 3 miles from the gym for 4 months a year. Matt is reading this as I post and reminds me that they don't miss any of his games, practices, etc. This makes it even harder to explain to Lisa their disinterest in what she does. There is my VENT for the night. :guilty:  :guilty:

Good Evening Everyone -
Just got home from celebrating DS's 16th birthday. Seems like just yesterday he was a little boy - now a man. Gave him a portable DVD player - we watched Lord of the Rings on the way to school (at 6:30 am)!
Haven't even begun to pack - started putting stuff on DD's bed after T'giving, but that's as far as we've gotten.
Hope everyone has a wonderful week.
Cindy
