I have a question - I can't tell you how many times I have filled out these forms but I can never remember. On the Bahamas immigration form how many nights do you list at staying and what day do you say as arriving? I know we just go to CC but the ship is registered in the Bahamas so I always get confused. Thanks for the help.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that was having trouble with that form --- I filled at the top --- the part I know is where I live!!! So we just put the 27th --- then do we mark Other Cruise Ship (or whatever don't have the form here) as to how we got there.

Now back to trying to catch up --- still on Saturday morning!!!! I can't even get near the PC on the weekends between DD and DH!

THANKS!!!! :earseek:

Not a late night, just a rough morning. We got burgled sometime in the night. Cleaned out both cars, got in the garage but thankfully not the house. The took the electric gate opener and garage opener so we expect them to return. So the morning is spent itemizing, police and my DH is loading up on security. They came over the rear fence, so I think he is putting up barbs on the inside. OF course changing on the codes. They really didnt get much but it feels so violated and then there is the time we will be away.

Drats

It is so sad that this time of the year is when people break into house the most.
Thank goodness that you and your family are Safe!!! Material items although are missed and can be a hasle to replace......they can be Replaced!!!!

Hugs, Therese

Alicia used be as picky. Actually the cruises help her to broaden her horizons with several things. Food choices being a big one.

That's my DD too. She had already found sushi (yeah, what other 9 year old would eat sushi?), but on our first cruise, I ordered the bagel and lox at the character breakfast since DS likes bagels. She asked about the lox, and once she tried it, she must have eaten 10 pounds of it the rest of the cruise! She also got lobster, and I think she even ate some escargot.

She's looking forward to trying all the new dishes this time.

Now DS on the other hand, cheese pizza, grilled cheese, and chicken tenders are about it. Every day when he gets home from school, I ask what he had for lunch. It's some variation of the 3 choices above. They have chicken in 10 different forms for his school lunch!!!

Just stopping by at lunch.

Jeri - so sorry to hear about the break in. Thank goodness they didn't get into the house. Do you have someone watching the house while you are gone - that might give you more piece of mind.

Confessions Week - Ok I'm In :D

Good time for it to with all the talk about what the kinds will or won't eat. My confession - I'm a picky eater. Real meat and potatoes. Don't like sauces or any type of condiments. I try not to make a big deal out of it and will usually joke with the server and put myself down a little bit.

That's why Mark loves cruising - he'll eat anything and with the cruise we get the best of both worlds. He gets to try lots of new and wonderful things and I'm happy with what I get.

So that's my confession. Now someone else better confess something or I'll feel like a fool.

ACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have NOOOOOOO idea why I got this call, but Debbie (dining) just called me. She is SOOOO totally confused. We weren't even on a list, someone was waitlisted for main and it came through so did I want EVERYONE switched to main :earseek: We were on the phone for 30 minutes....mostly her going, "hold on, let me see....no, not there.......ok....where is that form?......no.....this is so confusing......this is all screwed up.....no, stenson isn't on any list, i only have Thurston, Ferrara, Jones, and Wildrich...that's it...wait, here's a David Neidrich...isn't that LeiLani's husband? ...do you know these people?....wait, here's a form from Mary Gums....ok, no, this is the one Gail did...she left, didn't she? ....hold on, what's this? no, you aren't on this list either....can you have them re-fax their forms?.....oh, wait, they are on Amy's list...."

:earseek: :earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

So, finally, in the end, I think she figured out that everyone was being taken care of by Amy Edwards. I think. Says we should have all booked as a group to begin with! No kidding, but I didn't know anyone 18 months ago.

Her final tone led me to believe that all is well and that Amy is in control of everything. Stacey, you are working with Amy, right? Sue, are you ALSO working with Amy?

I've got phone and fax numbers for Debbie if anyone wants to double check anything. She took my cell number in case next Tuesday (when they make the final arrangements) there is an emergency. Is anyone who is in charge of anything wouldn't mind, could you PM me YOUR cell phone numbers and I can refer to you? After all, I don't even know ppls LAST names, so I'm not sure who is who!!!

WOW!
My head is spinning!!!

Yes....I am still here also. Have had a few e-mails going back and forth between Amy and myself. Seems Debbie is just a tad confused. I am soooooo glad that I haven't been trying to work with Debbie. Amy has us under control.

She just had to double/triple check everything with me, so that she could set Debbie straight. I think Debbie needs a vacaton.

Jeri, that's awful! Boy I can imagine how you feel. Here's hoping that they catch them!

Confession week....

I'm not packed. I'm not even organized. I have nothing pulled out. Nothing found. My son very well may be wearing the same clothes to dinner most nights. I have no idea what he even owns! I don't know what we're doing to decorate the cabin. Don't know what we're doing with Christmas presents. Don't know much about history, don't know much geography.....

Ok, off to do *something*

So glad we have Amy, Stacey and Sue working on this!

Karen - when I was trying to talk to her back when I was trying to do early seating she told me the same thing - that we all should have booked together. I told her that back when we all booked we didn't even know each other! I don't think she got it.

I hope that they can keep it all straight. It might have been easier for them and us if they looked at us as a group and had us designate one person to talk to them.

So this guy walks into a bar and says, "Gve me two beers."
The bartender obliges him.

The guy looks into his wallet and says, "Give me two more beers."

So the bartender gives him two more beers. The man went on like this until he had put down ten beers, and keeps on going in his wallet and asking for two more beers.

So the bartender asks, "What's in your wallet that you keep looking at?"

So the man opens his wallet and says, "The more I drink, the prettier my wife gets."
Another hubby just begging to walk the plank!

Actually this is a serious confession here. I've held off posting it, but I've made a decision I'm not going to the wine party and wanted to explain why. My DH is an alcoholic. So that's why we're not sitting with the late group. Thinking more about the wine party, I decided that it would be better for me not to go to the wine party, since he wouldn't be comfortable there either.

Whew, glad that's over!
