Okay I need tech help!!!
Trying to make signs. I have downloaded clip art to my photos. I am using Printshop and when I go to import the images they are not there, but when I pull up my photos they are???? I have tried copy/paste, but that doesn't work either? I told you I wasn't very tech savy. This taking way too much time.

One of the common problems is that some programs will only use certain files. ie; tiff, jpg, etc.

Make sure you click on the appropriate file format when you insert or import your saved file into the program. For instance if you have the files saved as jpg files and have the program looking for tiff files, it won't show any of those files even if you in the correct directory. Hope that helps.


Do you have Office Suite? Publisher in that software is pretty easy to use and has lots of leeway in that area.

Just went inot the folder, and I didn't save that one - I need to back track - I can email you the .jpg if you'd like?

Thank you so much. DM does not see well and this way she can get into the cabin all by herself. I try to make/give her as much independence as possible. That is the reason I keep our door different but simple.

I think this is the problem. The file is a giff and it is not one of the import options. I will look for something else. I may try a different program.

Another approach as a work around is to open the gif file (which are used more on the web) in a graphic program, Paint ShopPro, PhotoShop or something similar and use the "save as" option and save the file as something you can import.

Another request.
I am looking for an old Disney CD. I think at least 7-8 yrs. It was a collection of Disney songs sung by other artists. I can't remember the name, but I think it was Love Songs or something. Anyway it has a version of A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes sung by Linda Rondstat.

Not sure if this is it, but I found this description with a Google search:

I bribed the boy today. Told him if he spoke loud enough during his play for even the back row to hear, I'd buy him a Cinnabon!

He's the proud owner of a Cinnabon right now!!!

I taped it too....we'll see how it comes out. I didn't have a tripod so a couple of times there is uncontrollable jerking of the camera as I'm frantically trying to extract my cramped hand from the band!!

Afterwards, Pooh (Colin) couldn't believe I held the camera that long and told me HE has a tripod I could have borrowed! Now you tell me, Pooh...silly ol' bear!

And no, I did not even consider I was starting something as tremendous or as special as this. Look around my house. Most of the stuff I start never gets finished!! And this is one thing that I hope never finishes!!!

Lisa, Thank you for the introduction. I look forward to meeting up with you. I have been looking into getting my DD into Brownies but there are no local troops. So I was thinking of starting one next year perhaps you could give me some pointers.

Jeri, go for it. It's only an hour a week (insert sarcastic smilie here!). Linda (seaulater) is also involved in Girl Scouts. She actually works at her local council.

I'm just imagining some of our spontaneous DIS meets on board. Let's see, we have:

1) Tae Kwon Do work outs on the sports deck
2) Book swaps by the pools
3) Those teen/pre-teen surveillance meets to check the status of those leg bands.
4) Morning walks (beginning with the 4:30 "meet the ship" walk)
5) Scouting talks
6) Diving talks (BTW, scuba family or Kevin, is one of you up to give some snorkling lessons for some non-experienced kids in the Goofy Pool on a sea day?)
7) Caroling
8) Drama talks (got to watch the video of Karen's DS as Christopher Robin)

We are definitely going to be a famous (or is it infamous) group!

What did I miss???
