For those who don't have their documents yet let me share with you a poem my dear departed mother would often say to me:

Patience is a virtue,

Virtue is a grace,

Put them both together and you'll have a happy face!

:duck:

Ok - just trying to lighten the mood. Those who know me well know I would be spazzing if we didn't have our documents yet.

Here's hoping the documents come today for all those still waiting!

Wow - an unexpected top!

I downloaded the xmas and cruise ones, I'll see about bringing them in tonight and running some off. If anyone wants to do these, hang on a little bit and I'll have a version made up for the Avery forms.

Thanks, Mark! Appreciate it!!!

Good Morning Everyone!

I am off to take Jason to the orthodontist to get that new retainer. I will grit my teeth as I write that check!

I have been trying to work on our door sign. I am just not very creative or tech savy, but we'll have something.

David- thank you for comfirming what I thought. Christmas is semi- formal and Captain's Gala is formal.

Hope those of you still waiting get your docs today!

:flower1: Morning Cruisers!! :flower1:
I could get used to this life of leisure very easily!! :flower1:

:wizard: princess: :wizard: Here is pixie dust heading toward all those that don't yet have their docs.

Stacey I thought the UPS man came to the office/shop after you left the other day. Did he forget to leave your docs? If I see him I'll send him your way!! :moped:

Good Thursday Morning Everyone!!!

I was trying to catch up but didn't get finished. You guys sure were busy yesterday. I've got a busy day today but I will try to check back in later so I don't have so many posts to read in the morning.

Welcome to all the newbies.

Vicki - glad to hear things went okay and to see you posting on the boards.

Everyone have a great day.

ANY Idea when they might tell us the other theme nights? Or are we just to be surprised and not expected to dress for the occasion. I figure they already have the menus for the mexicalifragilistic & caribbean dinners so they might just have those to get enough variety they have 10 nights to prepare dinners and if they are having the Captians' Gala on Christmas they just used one extra menu What does everyone else think?

I love your signs especially the first one! Very well done.
Thanks for all the kudos on the door signs!! puckerup: I would have never thought about it if it wasn't for this board and all thee "Neat Folks" and ideas around.

Now we can be one of the people that others go by their door and say, "What a good idea, wished I thought of that!" Like I've been on other cruises.

I'd like to thank all of you!! :grouphug:

That's the great thing about these boards and especially this thread. The sharing of ideas and helping each other out. It is what is going to make this cruise extra special!

Well i've been able to check two more things off my to-do list for before the cruise:

  • Christmas cards are in the mail!
  • We've had our Palo dinner changed to the 26th
Still to do:

  • Update spreadsheet with changes
  • Finish stuffing the mini-navs
  • Print out thank you cards
  • Set aside tip money & phone cards
  • Purchase traveler's checks

The administrator almost blocked me!

Got me another top to start the day. Better get off here and get some work done!

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning Cruisers! It's still blizzarding here and the forecast is that it's supposed to warm up this afternoon and turn into freezing rain. oh, joy. The roads are like a sheet of ice right now as it is... Am I ready for Florida??? Since I had to cancel all my meetings for today, I could be responsible and try to prepare for future meetings, ORRRRR I could try to make some door signs. You've all been such an inspiration with your craftsmanship! I have absolutely zero creativity but I am going to try to come up with something.... At the very least, I'll put some cool magnets on our door...

A young man at this construction site was bragging that he could outdo anyone based on his strength. He especially made fun of one of the older workman. After several minutes, the older worker had enough.
"Why don't you put your money where you mouth is?" he said. "I'll bet a week's wages that I can haul something in a wheelbarrow over to the other building that you won't be able to wheel back."
"You're on, old man," the young man replied. "Let's see what you've got."
The old man reached out and grabbed the wheelbarrow by the handles. Then nodding to the young man, he said with a smile, "All right. Get in."
