Leslie, I was wondering about wearing the costumes to dinner too. But I think I gathered that there is a party after dinner (maybe on Deck 9?) that we dress up for. Anyone??

And...you're not paranoid. I use those wipes at all the hotels we go to. You just never know.

Okay everyone.. I need to know how extravagant you all are getting with the Pirate costume thingy.... Are you wearing them to dinner? I have a fear that it will end up being our night at Lumieres!!!
PS On the hand cleaner thing. We use the prepackaged clorox hand wipes easy to carry in purse, backpack, pocket etc... we also use them to wipe down the fixtures, knobs etc in the stateroom since you don't know what the attendant has touched before they touch your stuff.... okay.. paranoid I know... but I don't want to end up sick either. :o)

We will be in tropical/casual attire. I am looking forward to having a good time with all the pirate:

Thanks Linda.....here it is

www.CDockPirates.com

It the ladies wench costume " one size fits all"
My DD is childrens size 14.

By the sounds of it, I will have to keep on trying.

Thanks

Gus

Hey, I've made three of those skirts so far. If you give me her waist measurement and the length from waist to knee I can whip her up one in about 20 minutes and bring with me and all she needs is a white top! She can have her choice of red/white stripe or black/white stripe.

Really, dont' mind, if you can't get one in her size. And since my dtr. is 12, the might be close to same size and I can use my dd as the model while I sew up the two seams.

Okay, let me know.

Linda

I'd say if you are doing the costumes then by all means do them at dinner too. The wait staff will be dressed up so go have fun.

We'll be in tropical clothing not pirate gear, but we will still be ready for a great pirate party!

We (all 13 of us) are wearing ours to dinner and all night. We want to get before dinner pictures with Cap'n Hook and Mr. Smee with all our pirate gear on!!

Linda

Oh, Gus, if you want to see the skirt, I can take digital picture of my DD in it tonight and post tomorrow or send you via attachment on email.

Let me know.

My impression is that 2nd dinner moves immediately to the deck party. So if you go and change, you might miss something. Those is first seating will have some time, though. I'm pretty sure our group will be wearing their get-ups, else how are we going to check each other out?

from what i read the dinner is pirate themed, we get to keep the menus (not sure why, they didnt' want to spoil the surprise for everyone else...maybe its a treasure hunt or something!!!) and there is a deck party afterwards. i'm just going by what i read earlier elsewhere....

Vicki - glad to hear the surgery went well. Rest up so you'll be ready to go cruising. I'm sure gaRry and the kids are taking good care of you!

Okay, I am headed home from work (Only 8:40 p.m. tonight). But wanted to say we did go to Christmas with the Cranks last weekend, and since we are not putting up our tree this year, I wanted to post a couple of pictures so at least I can feel that I put up the tree somewhere!!!!

Here is our Disney Christmas Tree each year:

I think it is supposed to be a treasure map.

You all are wearing yours to dinner?? Does that mean I can take one more article of clothing out of my suitcase??

I don't like mine well enough to wear it to dinner.

I'll let you in on a secret. Y'all can tell me what you think. The first Pirate dress I ordered was too small, gave that to Jordan.
The second one fits, barely...but is pretty obnoxious looking....soooo....we had a costume from way back when. Technically, it's more Medievil than Pirate....will that be okay? Because it fits! Maybe I can be the young pretty girl from Pirates of the Caribbean....she wore fancy dresses. That's what this one looks like.
What do you think????
