Ok - only problem with the plan to sing. If the show is the special Night Before Christmas we really want to see that. Leave to Mark to think of the logical things. Hmmmmmmm

OHHHHHH - got a top - have to share it with Mark!

OK....how about we knock on Virgil's door at a preset time ( Virgil sets up of course )

Or........... somewhere else on the ship, we can all be waiting/hiding somewhere. Virgil could lead her unexpectedly into the path of the entire DISer's choir for the big surprise.
Perhaps right after departure or shortly thereafter.
She wouldn't know what hit her.
All Virgil has to do is get DW there.

Gus

Lately the problem for me with this thread is that by the time I read all the posts for the day it's late and everyone has left!

Paul

I confess its 12:15 and I am still up. I was studying so I have an excuse. It looks like the weather might be getting sever here around 4am. Other areas are already under tornadoe watches, not us yet. The worst should be to the north of us. But our weather radio is on and by my bed, planning to be woken up to it going off early tommorow. Please send pixie dust our way that we stay safe tommorow morning. They are saying up to 3 inches of rain, hail up to golf ball size, damaging wind gusts in excess of 65 mph and isolated tornadoes. Stay safe for anyone else in the Ark-La-Miss area.

Good Night,
Matt

It sounds like Virgil will have a bunch of different options to choose from!

Bear isn't going in the box. The buttons, navigators, asst. Christmas decorations and our ornament for the exchange will be on the way to the Scuba's tomorrow.

Yeah!

That' to bad because we were hoping to take Bear to the beach, show him Daytona International Speedway, give him the grand tour to Daytona.

But than again, the pressure would be incredible. If anything happened to Bear I don't think we would be allowed on the cruise. :earseek: :earseek:

!!!! I am up. The weather radio has just gone 3 times in the last 10 minutes. It first went off to leff to let me know they issues a tornado watch. It just went off to alert of a sever thunderstorm warning, a severe thunderstorm is moving toward our down, capable of producing words in excess of 80 mph! Tornados are and maybe on the ground at this time
Matt

It is getting harder to catch up each morning with all the posts.

Just checked out the newsletter - thanks Mary. Great photos.

It is another dull, cold day in England this morning. I am so looking forward to some Caribbean sun.

But I LOL Loudly when I read "it wouldn't wear a sandal"

well, maybe it would to keep it from dragging on the ground! ;)

You posted yesterday how it was scary that DW and I posted the same thing about the school bus.....What is really scary is that I said the exact same think when I read the post. Now I am starting to think like you. It's scary.... :earseek: :earseek:

Power is on but house is shaking. Street lights went out. Tornado on the grouod 20 miles north of here. Wind is gusting 80 at this time! White out conditions.

Only 80 MPH. That sounds pretty light. What's the problem with only 80 MPH. Come to Florida, the plywood state.

What you are going through is why I prefer a hurricane. We know when it is coming, where it is coming, and can be prepared for it.

It's nice to have people on with me in the morning.

Okay, I am sure this has been posted somewhere on this thread before but I have to ask again...

Do you plan on giving your CM's (Stateroom attendant, Server, Assistant Server, Head Server) Christmas gifts during the cruise??? If so, please share some of those great ideas!!!

:wizard: YEAH - MY FIRST TOP!!! :wizard:

Yes but still 80 mph gusts can do damage. We ended up loosing power for 3 hours. Came back moments ago. The bad part would have been the tornadoes. Not hit our neighberhood directly. I prefer hurricanes to. We went through ivan with winds at 120! Hope everyone has a good day.

:flower1: Good Morning Cruisers! :flower1:

Another fun night on the thread I see. I woke up to 7 pages!

Today is going to be a busy one. Our office Christmas lunch is today and then off to the dentist I go.

"The Box" will be shipped today - and no Bear will not be in it :D

Well off to read the boards and then to work I go. Have a great day everyone!
