A quick internet search shows that a house for sale in the Keseg neighborhood is going for $850,000! :earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

That's a lot of DVC points!!!

Well, that depends on if your mom can cook or not... Not as good as my mom, but better than the inlaws... oops, did I say that out loud?

Well, Mom was from the "old school" of cooking. With five kids in the family, it was a constant thing. Although between mandatory helping and out in the kitchen and Boy Scouts the four boys learned how to cook.

And about the other comment....... your going straight to **** in a bobsled girl!:earseek:

Thanks Virgil for helping me out. I got it. I also saw where there is a plan for an AM walking group... that's great. I hope it is all in the mini Nav...? Another idea I had is a book list. You can get through a lot of books in 10 days! If anyone is interested, email me the titles of any reading material (appropriate...) that you are planning on bringing and I can make a list and we can have a lending library.

I have heard that the book Sellavision is hysterical and I am going to bring it. It is a fictional spoof on QVC. Also, I may pick up David Sedaris's new book.
We will likely have a bunch of kid books with us, too...

I love the idea of a book list. I will be bringing the Shopaholic has a sister book (I think that's what it's called - it's the fourth in the series)... It's basically a biography of me in my 20's except that I didn't marry a billionaire or move to New York.. LOL! I will also probably bring the new Mary Higgins Clark novel...

Good evening all!
To catch up thru the day..

Angela- As was said by Stacey, the debit card would have to be supported by a major charge card company, such as Visa, Master Card, or somesuch. The reason being they cannot do true 'banking' type services, but can process the debit card thru the charge card system. Banks here are all going to those type debit cards. And a word about this- BE VERY CAREFUL using a debit card(I wouldn't except at a recognisable bank) or even charge cards in the ports. I have read too many posts on the cruise forum of people having their card 'cloned' and a whole ton of charges racked up on it.

David - Thanks for finding out. But about that schedule, that is not the most welcome news. We had planned outfits for Chistmas Eve and Christmas Day and this turns that idea on its ear. I'm considering dropping having a tux altogether now, or wearing it only on the semi-formal night. I'm kind of ticked at this. Need some time to think out a better plan now at the last minute.

Patty- Think of a Nesco Roaster this way. You have the regular roaster that you'd put in the oven. Imagine that container, fitting into a bigger pan that is heated to a temperature you set it to. It helps preserve a lot of the moisture, and because the heat is only surrounding the bottom half, it is self-basting. We use it for turkey, ham, and sometimes beef as well.

I read on the Nesco website that you can BAKE in it....as in cookies and cakes? WOW! My mom only ever used ours for stuffed cabbages and things for pot luck dinners.

An interesting book to read is the Nanny Diaries. Sad how some kids grow up!! Made me appreciate the fact that I could stay home with my kids even if I couldn't afford the aforementioned $850,000 house!!

I'll probably bring something to read also..... not sure what yet.... but something....

Okay, since the 'nights' have been announced if we get APL rotation then parrot cay for pirate night and formal/xmas. Lumiere's for semi formal. Do you still want me to request the APL rotation on 11/29?

Sue - my vote would be yes. I think Parrot Cay for Key West and Pirate night would be fun. We knew we were going to be in Parrot Cay for Christmas anyway.
