uh....I don't watch a lot of tv, and when I do I fast forward through all the comercials (thank you, Tivo!)

??? what's this outback steakhouse commercial about?

Thge theme thru them is unplugging the fridge to avoid dinner at home...

I always say things like "dinner is free" or "the movies on the ship are free" and ohiomickey always corrects me and says "the dinner is INCLUDED" or "the movies on the ship are INCLUDED".....

they aren't free.

This is Scuba Mom -
We had to have that discussion with Lisa after our first Christmas Cruise. She kept telling everyone all of the things that were "free" on the cruise. We had to explain the concept of "prepaid". So now she'll say "I know it's not free, but you can have all the (ice cream or movies or desserts, etc) you want"

I'm back...no movie tonight. Everyone was too tired. Not me....:hyper: I had a nap!

I feel like Scrooge. I decided not to put up decorations....and I usually have so much, it borders on extreme.
So maybe I will at least put up my "Bear" tree.....in honor of our new friend!
It's a pre-lit tree, with a burlap base, and has a bear climbing it! I happen to really love it. Not everyone in my family is so enamored.

Was it last year that I parked the Yukon across the front of the driveway, and stood on the roof of the car to hang the lights? I didn't want to wait for Jay, and the ground is too uneven for a ladder. I'm gonna miss that.

I still say everything is "free" on the ship. It's easier than saying "included".
Not sure if he was kidding or not, but the very last day of our cruise last year, my Dad came up to me and said "Why didn't you tell me that I could eat up on Deck 9 for free ?"

He also used to tell us kids the old "Had to tie a porkchop around your neck" joke. Along with a whole string of other really bad jokes. It was either sink or swim at our house.
"Keep swimming!!!"......

Talking to myself again...........

May as well say good night.

BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY MORNING TO ALL OF THE HOLIDAY CRUISERS!!

Good night.....don't wake me up in the morning!

Couldn't sleep so I'm surfing the boards. Stacey must have gone to bed and I get a top. :cheer2: :cheer2:

OK, review time. We saw a musical comedy tonight called Kokonut Island, put on by our neighborhood MS. A certain young person in the cast played the comic relief, Royboy. This young person had the entire audience guessing whether they were a boy or girl. Dressed in a man's wild Hawaiian shirt, men's long shorts, and a straw hat with only blonde bangs peaking out, this young actor used the goofiest faces and body language, along with a fairly strange Southern accent, and stole the show. The best part was when he/she came out in a wig and hula skirt with two other boys similarly attired (one with coconut shells over his shirt) and did a hula routine that would do Saturday Night Live proud. Many in the audience were laughing until they cried. Said actor even threw in a few Tai Chi moves, and at one point turned around and "shook it like a Polaroid picture".

We had an advantage, because we knew the actor quite well. Nothing like seeing your daughter dressed as a boy dressed as a girl. And owning it. I think we need to find a comedy school for this one.

Oh, the play got two thumbs up.::yes::
