Ah, yes, 1976. Good year. It was the year the wagon train came through out town and camped out for a weekend to celebrate the Bicentennial. I remember it clearly. It was the summer between 2nd and 3rd grade for me. :duck:

You're pushing it now, Toots!!! :p

HA! Got my T.O.P.!!

OK - back to work I go! Network problems so I had to come home for lunch.

The plan for 15,000. I think we should all agree that we stop posting at 14,975. Then when gaRry gets on line whoever else is on posts one at a time so it is very clear what post it is. Then 15,000 is all gaRry's. How does that sound. I wouldn't stop any closer because we all post so fast it could zip by so fast.

Well - since i just woke up - and I still have to drive to Canton.... I better stop posting.... at least for awhile....

Have a great Monday!

Be back later......

HA! Got my T.O.P.!!

Alright. I'll back off, but I'll tell ya something..... I love ya like a sister. It's been my policy to only kid people whom I like. I don't waste my time teasing ppl I don't like. That's a waste of my time. Ppl I grew up with knew I was their friend if I gave them a hard time. Guess that's how my dad showed love to me and I picked up on that.

It gets hard when I tease Mike about something and he pulls the old "there is truth in humor" attitude. :)

OH, and CONGRATS!!!!!!

I had a 2 yr old in 1996!! (but then again, maybe I was a sophomore in high school when I had her!) ;)

Now for the news brief:

The Wine Party

I called Debbie today, since it is her job to help with these matters.
She is very nice! BUT

"There are safety issues involved with having more than 14 people on that verandah at one time"

And I said "Oh, you mean, like if there's a fire, we couldn't all get out in time?"

"There are safety issues involved....."

So, she suggested that I fax Amy Edwards (Group Coordinator) and see if Amy can find us a place & time (like Sessions) to host such a large group.
I worked with Amy on Megan's wedding, and am hoping she remembers me.
Accordng to Debbie, there will be a lot of "extras" for this cruise, that will be taking place throughout the ship (cookie decorating, etc) so it may be near to impossible to find a spot for us.
AND
It will most likely cost money to "rent" a space.
Waiting to hear back from Amy. I used to have her in my address book for e-mail, but she's not in there any more. So I sent the fax.

Hmmm....intriguing. Wonder exactly what kind of safety issues (short of fire)

Let's just take over the Atrium! :)

Ohminnie....I know we are just having fun with eachother! That's what makes it fun!!::yes::

Whew. You called me "Toots" and I was a bit nervous!! :)

It was funny when I said that to her, about fire or whatever. They must be VERY well-trained to not admit to any type of "issue"!
It was like she didn't even hear me suggest "fire"...and just repeated the "safety issue" thing.
I told her that I had heard that you could fit a marching band on that verandah, and she said "Yes, but we don't expect for there to be a marching band on that verandah"...and again, repeated the "safety issue" thing.
She was very nice and helpful...do not get me wrong. I am more laughing at DCL policy.

Well, the dog isn't getting walked, school isn't getting done, and the house isn't getting cleaned.

I must run.....

Hey, why don't all the girls have a SPA day? Or all sign up for the "girls night at the spa?"

For that matter, why don't all the women link their dining and we can all eat on main dinner and all the men could eat on late dinner! :hyper:

Sorry, I'm not a spa type person. You can have one if you want, I just won't be there. Of course, now that means that there will be a stampede!!

See ya later, Toots!:teeth:

Not to worry, Lisa.....just tossing out ideas so far.

I think we should be a travelling group. Go from place to place, spreading our joy! And seeing how many people we can annoy in the mean time!
