The most important is that everyone is ok - but at 19 and being 3,000 miles away from family - the accident itself has been pretty rough on him.................. he'll learn..................

We've never gotten our DOCS via UPS before. It's always been FedEx. If DCL sent them on Monday via UPS 3 day select (3 - 5 business days) I still might not see them until Monday!

I gave my TA specific instructions to give DCL. We have such a problem with deliveries here. UPS is great for the shop, physical address only.

USPS is for US mail only, as it is a post office box. We don't get mail at the house.

FedEx is okay if it is FedEx GROUND. To the shop.
BUT, if it is FedEx Home Express, it comes with a street address, but then gets handed over to the USPS, who won't deliver it, as it has only the street address and not the post office box.

Confused??? That's what I have to deal with every time I get something delivered!!

I'll be lucky to get my documents at all..............

Therese - Glad you son is alright! Unfortunately kids and car accidents seem to go hand in hand. 2 years ago at Christmas my step-son while stopped at a traffic light was rear ended by a drunk driver. The good part was it was right in front of a policeman. The guy (uninsured) still claimed it wasn't his fault!

I won't. My UPS guy has been here and is gone (wouldn't take my outgoing packages though b/c they are only accepting "UPS Air" today.) He delivered a box from Lands' End....Peppermint Bark cookies.....as a thank you for my business this past year. Guess I hit their "big spender" list!

Too bad I've done all the ordering and Mike is the one who likes peppermint bark!

Sorry to hear about your son, but glad to hear that he's ok. Just a bit shaken. Sometimes shaken is a good thing! Makes ya think!

So sorry you have to deal with this so close to the cruise....but you'll sure be READY for a vacation when this is over, huh?

Is this the son that is a pin trader and goes to Disneyland frequently? I lost track on who that kid belonged to!

My theory is that DCL sends the lower category DOCS out first.
We lower class folk tend get agitated quicker! LOL!!!

did you need something? He has a rental and goes to DL every weekend to hang out with CM and Pin friends!

I will be sending the spreadsheet for tag to LeiLani today. Buttons are in ziplock bags by family and will have the DIS'ers name on a label on the outside.

Mini-nav's will be in enveoples with the DIS'ers name on a label on the outside. Mini-nave has the following listed on the front:

12/18 3pm DIS meet & Sailaway

12/20 4:15 Group photo in atrium & 4:30 Wine party

12/26 10:30 Brunch

Daily walking groups

Radio Frequency


The inside two pages will be listed with by DIS name with the room numbers and who is in the room.

Back page is left blank for making notes etc.

edited to add: We now have room numbers for most everyone. Please if you are a tbd or if anyone gets an upgrade at the port please let people know at the DIS meet so we don't go leaving lime green mickey heads on strangers doors.
