Gus...the taxi's on Antigua have rates fixed by the government...no meters. The furthest ride from the port is Devil's Bridge and it is $25. Dickinson Bay is $10. So, it depends on how far away the Dolphin place is...I can't remember right now where it is located. Expect to tip the driver perhaps $1 per person.

Stacey...apparently it is 15 minutes from the dock.

Another tough weekend coming up. Wide World of Sport and Magic Kingdom on Saturday and Wine & Food again on Sunday. Two weekends in a row. You just got to love life!

Sharon tells me people were posting about the wine package. My advice is take your own. Even if you fly in, go to a wine store before heading to the port. Throw a couple (or a bunch) of wine bottles in your carry on. Take a really big glass of wine to dinner and enjoy.

It save a lot and you get the wine that you enjoy!

Scuba diver.........do you know where the wine store is in Port Canaveral or Cocoa Beach?
Great idea on the large glass to dinner.
I must add that to my list.

Ok guys, I'm off to bed. I'm most of the way packed. My house is clean (so easy to do without a puppy chasing your swiffer!) My kids are asleep.

Wish me luck tomorrow. Mike has a vial of flu shot vaccine he's taking to his mom--she lives in FL and works in a daycare and is "eligible" but there are NO flu shots to be found in FL. So we have to get the vaccine (chilled) and syringes down to FL without them being confiscated or us hauled off to prison.

Sorry, but I don't know. I would think that just driving pass the Port on A1A you could come across an ABC or Walgreen (both have a decent supply of wine). Or you might want to check the web for a Sam's or Costco if you are a member. Both good places to buy (I'll be there tonight on the way home. Have to pick up some veggie and maybe a bottle of wine). If you are flying into MCO, just head north out of the Airport on 436 and you should find something.

Google or check the local Chamber of Commerce web page. I don't think that we are going to be down there before the cruise so I won't be able to look for you.

Gus - click here for the maps from Dave's DCL Tribute site. It shows ABC fine wines and spirits not far from the Avis and Hertz locations. Also not far from Shirley's the Perfect Gift. Hope this helps.

Too funny! I even looked at that sentence a couple of times trying to be sure I was saying it right. DH and I both have old Teva sandals, and those sandals are nasty, so I replaced the sandals. DH is thankfully still around!
