Welcome DW4US!!! We have a DD12 also, her name is Jamie Lynn. Maybe they could start conversing with one another and get to know each other!!!

We booked the early pirate excursion (whereever that one is). There are many of us on that excursion.

Then we have booked with Eli's in Antigua (not a Dis excursion), still waiting for confirmation though.

That's all I've done so far!!

Is the list for teens on the regular Teen Board? I know she would like to get to know someone. Is there something out there for my DD-12?

I would love to join you on the walk, but we are at AKL the night before, when the good rates came out we just couldn't resist and I can start on my Disney fix one day early! It's been since July 2003 since we've been to DW and I'm dying to go even if just for a night! We are so obsessed that we just finished our basement --- all Disney, mainly Mickey --- the walls are even red and yellow with black trim --- we really love it!

I'm looking forward to meeting some people on the cruise! We were cruising with some friends but they dropped out so now we're all alone.

btw, DW4US, I have a 10 yr old dd. There are many other 10 yr old girls in this DIS group. The age grouping on the Magic will put them all in the 10-12 group!!

We went in for haircuts today....took the dog with us b/c behind the hairdressers is a dog groomers (nice proximity, huh?) Anyway,she has owned three flat coated retrievers and she was very helpful as we explored this breed and bought a puppy.

She thought Maggie was cute. When I brought up the idea that maybe we *will* show her, even though our original intent was to just have her as a pet, she was brutally honest about it.....

Our dog's muzzle is too short.
Her hocks are too long.
She is ?cow hocked or ham hocked or something (dog equivilent of pigeon toed)
Her thighs are way too underdeveloped.

She will never amount to anything in a show ring. Her hocked-ness alone will make it so she'll never win.

On the other hand she did say "her tail is set on right."

Linda---that would be great if Jamie Lynn and Jordan could could get to know each other before the cruise --- and if there's a whole group is that age range they can really have fun! Looks like they might ditch us before the cruise even starts!!

There are a few of us golfing on the trip. I'm golfing with LeiLani's husband (DVC4US) on St. Thomas. While we realize that it is Christmas day - it's supposed to be one of the premier courses in the Caribbean.... and our thoughtful DWs are allowing us to go...

Well, it's nice to know. That way I don't waste my time or energy taking her to shows that she doesn't have a chance of winning.

Although, I told Mike, maybe she said that because she felt threatened by Maggie and was worried Maggie would take the prize away from her dogs.

We are definately going --- paid yesterday -- still can't believe that after a year and a half the cruise in only a couple of months away. Anyway, we are a family of 4 (myself, DH, DD14 & DD12) and this will be our second cruise, our first one was on the Magic in July of 2003 where we rebooked.

We still haven't decided on excursions, guess we better get organized. I know my DH wants to golf, he just has to spend the money, but if he brings his clubs that means one less bag for me!
Does anyone know anything about the excursions on St. Lucia and Antigua --- good or bad?

Welcome DW4US........This is our first cruise ( can't wait )

We still have to book some more excursions.....some are booked already.
In St. Lucia we are doing the pirate ship excursion.
In Antigua we are swimming with dolphins on our own.
If you are interested in the dophin excursion , I'll tell you more about booking on your own.
