Gail - Very sorry your plans have to change and you can't go. I so know what that's like. I hope a shorter cruise works out -- let's keep in touch on French Woods!

Lisa - Keeping your FIL in our prayers, too. That's good news on the house/lot.

MVMCP tickets - Gail's post reminded me we also have tickets for sale if someone could use them. DH now can't take off the week before and my parents aren't joining us, so we have tickets on 12/14 (2 adults, 2 kids) and 12/16 (4 adults, 2 kids). Just pm me if anyone's interested.

Liberty Tree Tavern - Also have ps for the 14th and 16th if anyone could use it.

Mary - The 3 p.m. party sounds great!

gaRry - Serious coffee drinker here, too. (Serious Diet Coke drinker, as well.)

Mary - the 3pm DIS mee sounds good to us. That is usually where we get a spot for sailaway anyway, so we'll go to the meet then lifeboat drill and then back to Deck 10 for sailaway.

Lisa - sorry to hear about FIL we are sending thoughts and prayers.

Stacey - the video is awesome - they should have given the "welder from Cave Creek" more exposure.... The railing is really incredible.... Nice house too....

I think that the 3pm meet is perfect to get us started - then we can go to the drill - and then those that want to can meet up for sailaway... bubbles and all.....

Palo question! I remember that the cover charges for dinner and brunch are different. One is $10 and one is $15 (or at least it used to be). Which is which?

I have been using AFFF as my user name for various things for the last couple of years.

Here it is........"Aqueous Film Forming Foam"

Its used to extinguish flammable liquid fires.

I think I like "A Fearless Firefighter" better

Gail, so sorry to hear about you having to cancel. I hope all goes well with the new job and you make loads of $$$$$ for more future cruises!!!

Stacey-I love the railing. We have a winding staircase and we had an alder staircase made. Good thing they found a big tree for the 12" wide by 10 foot long curved piece!!!! Our rail is alder and then the pieces between the upper rail and bottom are a twisted iron rod. (Guess I am not explaining this very well.) Love the pictures. Those folks have real great taste! I have the same travertine backsplash in my kitchen (except I am sure they didn't get theirs at our fav spot-Home Depot).

Also, I am surprised that no one jumped on the WINE CELLAR With this group, I figured that was the first comment that would be made. Stacey, can you arrange a party there?

Okay, another day, another dollar. Got to get some work done to payoff this cruise and I only have about 13 days left to do that!!!!

You have two choices for dinner....take it or leave it.

Ds won't eat ANYTHING in the veggie group. He MUST take a "no thank you helping" of everything though. Choke down the bean enough times and ya might just like it. He'll eat any fruit known to man though. Dd, while a bit picky, is more willing to try things with an open mind. Many times she finds out she likes them.

We have to be careful with ds. If he doesn't get enough to eat in the evening, he wakes up the next morning gray, shaky, and puking from low blood sugar. So if he eats a really lousy dinner, he must get a substantial, healthy snack before bed.

Hi Karen, I either e mailed you or pm you last night. I would love to come on 1/17 and meet you all. We are looking into doing a 4 night on 1/4. that way DD only misses 4 days of school and DH can hopefully swing 4 days off as well. It would be to hard to do both as DH would not be able to come with me and I would be pulling the children out of school and trying to get airfare and hotel. So sorry I will not get to meet you all. So, where were all you chatty people when I was still up and on here at 3 am????

Gail......don't know what to say....you know already though, how I feel......so sorry.

Thanks for the compliments on the railing. I had to laugh, I too, thought someone would have something to say about the wine room!!! They ordered their racks....we have made several for other people out of wrought iron. Lots of folks up here have them.
Diana...I don't think I'm smart enough to put the pics on my picture site! I can try.

Lisa....your "new" (almost) neighborhood sounds fantastic. I will pray for your father in law......

Linda...all my cabinets are alder....I actually am a "wood" person (don't tell DH!)...but I'm glad so many people are in to steel...pays to keep me cruising!!
A lot of times, the homeowners have parties for the subs....this one didn't. Darn...and he seems like someone whose brain I would love to pick!! Former FBI.......

Anyway.....have a hair appointment and need to run.
I called DCL since I still had not received confirmation of my shore excursions. They have them all (thank goodness) and the gal said she'd fax it.....how long does it take for them to do that?

Gail....I can handle the brunch...I think..... if Diana or LeiLani will help me!

Nov 6 won't work for us for Tyson's. Both kids play volleyball on Saturday, DS 11-1 and DD 3-5, so that takes care of most of the day. Still open Nov 1 & 2.

Mary- could you maybe add to the Nov newsletter where everyone will be staying pre & post cruise in case we can plan some mini meets. I know some are meeting at MVCP.
