And here I thought LDS was that stuff Spock did in the 60's in the Star Trek IV movie.......

So sorry. We're even studying contractions now, so it's very obvious to me.

On a side note... I'll try not to be too harsh if you use an subject pronoun as a direct object or an object of the preposition. ;)

I love homeschooling--I'm getting the education I didn't get when I went to school! :)

Qué, yo no hablo inglés.

LOL, wasn't that the "Vulcan Mind Meld" or something like that?

Another thought: The Romantic Escape at Sea, abbreviated to REAS reminded me of the move Princess Bride when the hero and heroine were fighting the "Rodents of Extreme Size" or RES's. I did a double take on "that" one.

Hey - I know that one....

Kirk is telling a 20th century woman that Spock used to take LSD, but mistakenly calls it "LDS"....

Yes but did he know that she was really a minister's wife with lots of kids? (the same actress plays the mom now on 7th Heaven). :D

Wow I'm feeling so popular today - my pm box has been busy.

We are up to 66 buttons and already have 10 families saying yes to playing tag. Yeah! :cheer2:

Off to bed I go. After a day of fun I have to head back into the office tomorrow and try to clean up more of the mess. :(

I don't consider myself a wine snob. I myself prefer a more middle ground when it comes to wine. I like mine pink. Anyone for Strawberry Hill?

I love Merlot! Who are y'all sitting with at dinner, Doc? I make it a rule not to drink in front of DS, with some notable exceptions...if I have someone to split a good bottle of merlot with at dinner, I can make that a notable exception! :teeth:

DH isn't wild about wine...

OHMinnie...The writer in me was screaming bloody murder when I saw the "your" instead of "you're." So you're not alone...

Are there really no baseball fans on this board, or do so few people care about George Sissler's record??? :(
At any rate, my man Ichiro finished the season with 262 hits. Sissler's record (unbroken since 1920 until Friday) was 257 hits.
And the AL's Designated Hitter of the Year award is now officially renamed the Edgar Martinez Designated Hitter Award. So I guess even with 98 losses this season, the Mariners still made some valuable contributions to baseball.

OK, I'm done. No, really. No more baseball talk unless you twist my arm.

Lisa,

I set myself a goal of coming on the cruise as an advanced yellow belt. My instructor thought it was a realistic goal. We'll see!

Thanks Mary for the images for my counter! My DS was nagging me to put these on after he saw Mary's counter...

Lynda - Sorry to hear about your foot. How's Cash doing these days?

Cash is swimming, loafing, eating, going to the mall, and, tomorrow, going to the vet for his Bahama, Tortola, and Antigua shots. Shhh....don't tell him....

Today I sold my recumbent 3-wheel trike and tomorrow I put my MacIntosh tuner, the AR power amp, DR trimmer/mower, and 600 lps up for sale...already sold the guns and the pool table...

selling is not nearly as much fun as buying....

Welcome back Donald's best friend....!
Welcome back Stacey...

10876 and TOP...yayyyyy!

:flower1: Good Morning Cruisers! :flower1:

Happy Monday!

Have to head in to work a little earlier today. So a quick good morning, a quick read of the boards and I'm off. Have a great day everyone!

What a drag for you and DS! It's bad enough not to dive, but to drive all the way there and be disappointed, That's rough!

So as not to rub it in. The diving today was really great! ...

Thanks... glad to hear you had a great time. I just hope Matt and I are not to rusty for Epcot. After all it has been a month since diving. Hopefully it won't be to much longer before all the vis is back. .

Man, you're gonna think I'm picking on you....and after all that help you gave me....

Princess Bride is a cult favorite here. I'll bet we watch it (or at least the adults listen to it) at least once a month.
Wesley and Princess Buttercup fight the ROUS's. Rodents of Unusual Size. :)

But I don't think they exist...... :earseek:
