We finally got home. Just couldn't get on the boards.
Jordan doesn't know when they will let the girls know who made the troupe. She will have to add ballet classes if she makes it. She said she did well with her jazz, lyrical and hip hop....she's just never done ballet.
I'm glad she likes it, it's good for her. Maybe she will get a job at Disney some day!

Well...time to hit the hay...just wanted to say goodnight, and

Last night at dinner DW suggested DS and I plan a dive trip over Thanksgiving weekend - our anniversary. I am one lucky guy!

Running a little late this morning so I'll make it short.

If any of you have been to Grand Cayman I'm afraid the Grand Cayman we saw is no more. Sounds like it really got hit hard. The turtle farm may be gone Very very sad.

Let's hope that Ivan stops soon. There has been too much destruction and too many deaths.

That's a good idea, ohiominnie. I have not seen any sites I could recommend. What we do is to match the existing texture used in the house. We have some boards with texture samples on it. If you get stuck, let me know.

I would recommend that you stay away from a texture that you have to buy or rent more equipment. A sponge would work pretty well to add a little texture without spending more money.

I add a voice of concern too. Hope all is resolved soon and the displaced families can get their homes back into shape soon. Here is a couple of interesting links that list known damage to the islands.

Hi everyone. Poor Cayman Islands. My prayers are with all that live there. Thanks for all that posted websites regarding the Cayman Islands. It is one of our favorite places to visit.

Not to worry, DH gets his share. He went on a trip for his birthday, remember? Then there's two nights a week dive con, and about every other weekend at the lake. And three days on the cruise, plus part of our vacation next summer. Probably more than "part". But we really only have two full days after the cruise, between getting off the ship and catching the plane home on the 31st.

Looks like there's another storm in the Atlantic already, heading for Puerto Rico. But it's not shaping up to be a bad one, it doesn't even have a name yet.

There's a thread on the regular cruise board about "Best Servers", and I found out that our wonderful server from our Oct. 2002 cruise is still there! I wonder if we can request servers?

I'll bet you can. On our 3rd cruise we wanted to request the servers from our 2nd cruise. We went to the location for "dining changes and requests" when we boarded (beat street or wave bands) I asked for the server, but he wasn't on our rotation. We would have had to switch from PLAP, which I wasn't willing to do. So we took a chance and ended up with even a BETTER server!!

Naw! I'm a lucky guy. If a dad can't spend time with his family then his got his priorities all wrong. That's one reason we (as a family) love the cruises. DD and I can dive and do, DW can do what she wants and then we all get together and do things as a unit.

It's ALL good!!
