Hey Virgil....that's not a bad idea. I could probably pay for the cruise that way since it is a 2002 4 wheeler!!!!

Linda

Back from all my running.

Virgil...all the doctors these days look like 12 year old "Doogie Howsers". Give me a nice, grey haired guy anyday!

Linda...sell that ATV! Two kids out here were just killed on one, and they were wearing helmets.
Not funny that a boy scout is lost, but it is funny that Girl Scouts don't get lost.....you know why?????
Because guys won't stop and ask for directions!!!

Diana, neither my DH nor Megan's would have the slightest idea as to how to go about ordering gifts, let alone the inclination!

I added a couple more pictures to the album. I thought everyone should see the back of GaRry's head, and there's a picture of me (in the front of the monorail) with the shirt GaRry made.
Also a picture of jilljill and her DD.

Back in a few. Going to read the boards.

Diana, that thread was funny. That gal should being doing commentating. She'd be a whole lot more lively than David Letterman's mom. And speaking of weird names, what do you think of Loudy Tourky? Her brother's name is Tom.

Back later.

Stacey - very cool that you have a secret pal and they treated you to some true Disney Magic!

Virgil - I know what you mean about feeling older. It seems that everyone we hire lately is right out of school and is young enough that I could be their mother. :D

Diana - I love the addition of the count down to the Wine & Cheese and Disney Quest to your signature. That Disney Quest count down is for me too!

We all know that men don't need to ask for directions because of our natural ability to navigate!

Linda - Sorry about your DH. Hope he is feeling better soon!

Just popping in for a TOP :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Sorry - couldn't resist!

..snip.... For instance, since we get in late (9:30am) in St. Lucia, I don't think it will be possible to get an independent operator to go with. Probably have to book the excursion through the ship.
Well, looks like I'll have to take that back ::yes::

I've gotten more responses back through today. Actually only have a couple left to go and it's looking better all the time, except for St. Maartens. St. Lucia will be much easier since Dive Fair Helen's responded in a positive manner.

Can't wait to get wet under Caribbean waters!! :bounce: :bounce:

Tinksdad...was any of the info I gave your DW helpful?

Not a whole lot going on tonight...watching the Olympics still. What are we going to do when they're over?

I should consider planning my packing for this weekend.

:Pinkbounc Hooray for the T.O.P., Mary!:Pinkbounc

I had been counting, but you beat me to it!!!
Get those posts up, we can have a race!

:flower1: Good Morning Cruisers! :flower1:

Happy Tuesday!

Stacey - I think we'll be crowning you queen of the posts - don't think I can keep up with you :D

Loved the picture of the back of gaRry's head. Do you think the salon on board could do that for him on formal night?

Sleep.
Watch our Netflixes that have accumulated.
Cross Stitch.
Read to my kids again.
Play a family game.
Exercise.

I could go on...

You bet! I had seen most of that, but the dive operator I'd like to use is used by the same folks. I think they'll be fine. We've never been to St. Lucia, and the excursions are an unknown.

Guess thats what makes it fun!

Morning all! Minnie, bummer about your bathroom. And Linda :earseek: I would have freaked! And given the same Girl Scout lecture. Of course, part of the reason you also never hear about Girl Scouts getting lost is because that kind of "high risk" activity is almost never approved by GSA! I know several senior Girl Scout troops that are cross registered as Venturing Crews (Under Boy Scouts) so that they can do high adventure activities. Boy Scouts are also supposed to have buddies for all activities, just some of them don't enforce it.

I remember at one day camp for my Webelos (4th graders at the time), they kept wandering off without their buddies. By Thursday (after a week of 100 degrees and 98% humidity), I had lost it. I lined them all up, and told them that the next time I saw one of them without a buddy, I was going to make them march in twos holding hands so that I knew they were with their buddy, just like we make the little Brownies (1st grade Girl Scouts). Never had one come back from the port a potty alone the rest of the week !!!!! Mean Miss Lisa!

Doc, I know what you mean about people looking younger every day. I have a lady working for me in contracts who's in her early 20s. I don't even want to do the math to figure out what year she was born.

Stace, awesome pictures!!! And Barb, what a pleasure to see you and your DD having fun.

Have a great day everyone. Lisa

Tinksdad............thanks for the SCUBA update and all the hard work on all your efforts.

It is much appreciated.

What are your choices for dives sites at all the ports of call?

More pics, Stacey! So fun to look at pics. Good one of Barb and Alexa.

Garry and Vicki, DD and I wore our t-shirts to the parks that Tuesday. That was the day we got four rides on TOT, due to finding the abandoned Fast Passes. We could spot ourselves in the photos as we rounded the exit from the elevator! Yes, we were pink.

I think I've finally recovered from being on vacation. Now that DD is back at school, I have no more excuses. Gotta work. Spent hours taking pics yesterday, now the non-fun part, writing descriptions. Don't let anyone tell you that Ebay is easy.

Lisa, what kind of contracts? That's what I did for years.

GaRry-love the picture. I was thinking we could just put lime jello powder in your showerhead in your stateroom and then you won't have to waste any $$$$$ going to the beauty salon pirate: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Okay, so my DH (Robert), he thinks he knows best. Been on the oxygen one day and he is about fed up with that. Guess he feels like a dog on a leash around the house. Thank goodness I am at work so I don't have to hear the whining :o

This morning he says "Don't think I need to be on oxygen anymore, makes me a little light headed and dizzy." Well, get back in bed, duh. You got a little whole in your lung. Take deep breaths. So he gets his portable tank and thinks he is going to run around doing errands today and go see the doctor so he can get off this .......... oxygen.

I left him sitting in the chair. I told him to dial 911 on his cell phone if he passes out.

See, he gets no sympathy from me.

And Lisa (I think it was you) you are right! Men won't ask directions and they won't look to find anything! DH "I can't find the ketchup here in the fridge, looked everywhere, we don't have any." My response as I sit in living room "On the door, third shelf, right side, Heinz bottle, color is red."

Can you tell I am having a great morning? I didn't get any sleep last night between the DH moaning in his sleep and that d.......
oxygen machine!!!!

Later,

Linda

ROFLMBO!!!!

You must be VERY careful when showing people how to scare bees!!

I am on the run today...will ba back to share the joy with everyone later.

Paul, Virgil and GaRry...I really thought that one of you, at least, would have cought my joke about the Australian diver (Loudy Tourky) and her brother "Tom".........so disappointed in you!
Come on now....Tourky...Tom....say it with me. ;)

Never mind.

Got a lot of that yukky stuff from the weekend taken care of, and I may very likely not have anything to worry about, so I am flying high! Yippee!!!

There are a lot more pictures where those came from.....there is the one with Diana and her DD and their new-found English boyfriend! Should I put that one on there?????

Outta here for now.

Stacey
