Lucky for me, I know how to wire & unwire a doorbell!
But you're right, after 10 minutes I would answer....we're not as young as we used to be!
Obviously, I'm not at work. I went to the dentist for a routine cleaning. But I knew I had a problem with a couple of teeth.
Just my luck, the dentist had 2 open slots after me.
So, 3 hours and $966.00 later, I am home, waiting for the novacaine to wear off and the pain to begin. The tooth that was cracked had decay, he hollowed it out, removed a section from the side of it, and filled it back in and sealed it. The other two (yes, 2) just had to be drilled & filled along one side. I'm numb on one side all the way to my eyebrow. And my voice is worse again.
(whine whine....where's my cheese?)
The reason these teeth are so bad (and I knew this) is because I clench my teeth constantly. I try to remind myself to stop....doesn't help.
Funny, though....he's asking me "Are you stressed? Work been busy? The kids? Life in general?" So I said "All of the above".
Got fitted for a mouthpiece to help me stop ruining my teeth.
Lisa....you trouble maker! We're sending you off the ship to greet the cops first! Sounds like you know how to get us all out of trouble!
Mary...I'll answer your great questions later, okay? Going to go lay down.
Kara, my Mom's aunt and uncle lived in Sunnyvale before they passed away....I think their two adult kids still may live there. Not that you'd know them, but their last name was/is Jordan. That's where my Jordan (DD) got her name.
Off to lay down, before the pain sets in. I
knew there was a reason I hated going to the dentist.
