It is fun isn't it. In a silly little way. Remember I was the one that woke up at 2 am to claim mine (#3000). On we go to 6000, 7000, and up to gaRry's 10,000!

What a silly bunch of cruisers we are, but we are having fun!

Have a good day at Jury Duty - is there such a thing. Maybe they'll let you out early and you can treat yourself to a nice lunch and think how happy you are that you got #5000

I am so psyched 5000 on DH birthday. It is a good way for me to remenber we hit 5000 on 4/13. The crew just showed up. I love my DH!!!!!! I hope he comes home from the job he is working at today early so we can celebrate his birthday early with the children. Thanks for the birthday wishes for DH. Next year is the big 40!!! I can see it now...One segment devoted to speed typing, fluff insertion and computer control and another segment, starring me, myself, and I on the reasons why, as an experienced middle school teacher, I have a professionally-developed perspective on the fact that children who frequent these adult-participation boards may occasionally see things that hurt their feelings, shock their sensibilities or reveal to them the vicissitudes of life.

with a post script about the reasons why occasionally emptying a dog's bed will scare the scorpions away....Verrry close guess, not spider...scorpion...ICK!!!. When you suggested spider, I ran out, neat trick, threw Cash's bed over and there, under the pad were three scorpions....enjoying the body heat, I guess... If I'd thought of it yesterday I could have dosed him with Benadryl.

Hi everyone! Checking in at lunchtime. So glad I got to see and be part of 5000. I'm happy for Stacey- but sad that Karyn never got it. I think we were only on 1200 or 1300 when she last posted. Hope all is well with her and her family.

Gail to add things in color you just hit the color pull down above and pick the color you want. That will bring up a pop-up window where you type the text you want in color in.

Or you can type like this "["COLOR=BLUE]Then type your text[/COLOR] In this example you would remove the " from either side of the bracket and you should get want you want. Which would look like Then type your text

Also there is a Preview Reply button below that lets you look at your post before you actually post it.

Darn it!

I misjudged 5000.....LOL Not really.....

Well - it's been interesting so far......

Monday in Nassau was OK - weather was nice... but windy....all of ths shops closed up early since it was still Easter Monday - looked like a ghost town by 3pm. We were the 5th cruise ship in - and it was crowded early. Went to Atlantis - did the DIG - nice - not really worth the money..... gambled a bit - didn't have enough "7"s.....

Today is Castaway Cay - it rained all morning - had a 10am parasailing with Lauren - got rained out... Rescheduled for noon - too windy. It's nice and sunny now..... but really windy... it's OK though - I could be at work....

LeiLani - was thinking about the party yesterday at 1pm - did Dominic have the courage to stop by - (I'd be surprised).... Hope the weather stays nice for you all......

OhioMinnie - Thanks for the PM and the Pic link - I asked VerandahMan to get me the pics - and he was kind enough to do so. We told Lauren about the 10 day - and she started crying - she was so excited - wait to she give it to KT, though - for knowing all this time.....We told her you had to monitor KT's emails so that the secret wouldn't get out....

Really like 8086 - nice room - gotta get the 3 for the 10 day.....

Not too much fluff....

Glad Cash is OK....

It's soggy and rainy here today - at least we're getting a little break from the baseball/tee ball practice schedule.

Yikes, scorpions! I would die. I think snakes are bad enough. Auughh!

So true! I had to read each email before it went out to make sure there wasn't a subliminal message in there. Of course I told KT I was just checking her grammar!
KT is ready to start planning the fun with Lauren! We're still up in the air about my parents joining us. They've gotten wind that maybe DCL is doing a Panama Canal cruise and they'd probably pick that over a Christmas cruise. (DF wants to get to San Diego to see the USS Midway anyway) We'll have to see what May 5th brings as far as the DCL announcement. If my parents dump this year's cruise we'll be dumping early dinner!
