Night all - I'm off to bed, youngest DS just woke up crying....no more fluff for this East Coaster.

Congrats to the lucky 5,000 poster! :)

OKAY FINE! Leave me here all alone! I can't do it by myself...especially since I have to leave before the crack of dawn to get to the courthouse...assuming I find the RIGHT courthouse. We have several...don't know why.

GaRry...I am sooo sorry....lost my head, and forgot about your horse. Many, many apologies! :guilty:

Stacey

Paul, sorry we took back our nice weather! Just think, though....come July/August, we'll be dying and you'll have some gorgeous weather.

Hi, Stacey, I'll talk. We're on the same time zone, right? We are close to that 5000, wonder what we'll hit by December.

Great new pics on the web site, Mary! So nice to see new families, and so nice of you to do this for us.

David, my husband is a firm believer in the Very Big Stick. I haven't seen it yet, but DD has been told she can't date until she's 21! As if!

Gail, will be e-mailing, glad you had a nice trip.

OK, here's a WDW memory. Our first trip was just after DD's 8th birthday. She was kind of a sensitive, shy child, really afraid of anything new. We went in early May, it wasn't busy at all, and all week CM's were trying to pull her into things and she just wouldn't go along with it. The next to the last night, we went to the Hoop de Doo review, and were seated upstairs. They put the spotlight on her after the Tarzan yell, and she dove under the table. But she was really enjoying the show. When it came time to pick audience members to be in the show, I told her, "Alicia, go down to the first floor, maybe they'll pick you". To my complete amazement , she went downstairs, and all the way up to the stage! They were a little surprised to see her, since they already had their "cast", but they took her backstage, put a blanket around her, and gave her a line. She did great! I think I cried the whole time. On the way home, she told me, "Mom, if you never try anything new, life would be very boring". Those are words to live by, no? Diana

You know what's going to happen, don't you?

You guys are going to hit 5000 while I'm at JURY DUTY tomorrow.
That's like adding insult to injury :(

Lynda, maybe Cash got a spider bite? Happens here a lot.

Hi Diana,
Yes, we're on the same time zone now. :D
I told Jordan she can't date till she's 30! LOL, poor kid almost believed me for a second.

Let's see....a memory....nothing too incredibly precious like you guys...mine are mostly funny things. Unless you count Megan's wedding. And the thing the kids remember most is me sobbing hysterically when she and my dad walked down the aisle. I tried telling everyone that I had something in my eye....but they said the violent shaking of my body gave me away!

And there's one funny one I could tell on Jordan....but she'd run away from home if I did....
We did have a Japanese tourist ask if he could take her picture when she was about two. We were in line for the Monorail at DL. We still don't know why he'd want her picture, but we let him.

Stacey, Japanese tourists don't see too many cute little blondies. We used to get that too, but not so many Japanese tourists in Alb!

One neat thing....we have pictures of me on the Fire Truck on Main Street at Disneyland starting when I was 8 years old, up until a couple of years ago. I have more teeth now than I did then! If I wait a few more years, I might be missing those front ones again......
Had to quit taking the pics when it got too hard to climb up there without help!

Well....I need to go to bed. Guess you guys will probably hit the 5000 before I get home. I doubt I'll have time to check in in the morning. :(
Figures we'd be this close, and I'm going to be gone.

Guess you'll have to carry the torch from here, Diana!

Here goes:

TERRIFIC TUESDAY MORNING TO ALL OUR EASTS AND MIDS, AND EVERYONE ELSE TOO!!!

Goodnight,

Stacey

Wow, I think I beat Mary in this morning. Unusual. I haven't read the night's posts, cause I wanted to pirate: a morning post!

Love ya Mary, mean it!!

Morning All!

Just catching up on my morning reading of the board

O.K. - a techie question......I can't figure out how to get the time on my posts to reflect EST.......not GMT. Is there some place I go to change the posting "clock"?

Charlotte - here's what you need to to. Up at the to of the page click on the User CP button. That will take you to a new screen. Then click on the Edit Options button. That will take you to another new screen. About 2/3 of the way down is a bar that says Date & Time Options. That is where you change from GMT to EST using the pull down. When finished hit the submit modifications button at the bottom and your time should be fixed!

Okay, my only guess on the trivia is also Prince Charming. Can't think of any other one. Oooh, oooh, oooh, is it Cleo?? I know that Cleo is the fish in Pinnochio, and the kids used to have a classic Disney cartoon that had Cleo the cat (little black cat)?

Lynda, here's hoping that Cash mends quickly! How can he enjoy your first cruise if he's hobbling around?

Charlotte, you can set your time zone back on the beginning page. I'll go check how to do it, then post again (got to get to 5000 somehow, right?) Maybe I'll see what post we are too (keep forgetting to subscribe to the thread!)

I think it's something like the lower right corner says time (GMT), click here to change?

Good morning everyone! Lisa is leading the parade this morning - yeah!

Looks like today will be the day to do 5000 - wow we are really moving on this thread. If we keep going we will make gaRry's 10,000 before we cruise!

My favorite Disney moment goes back to 1976 - the first time I visited. I was 19 and I was with my mom. When we walked into the Magic Kingdom (all they had back then) she started crying. When I asked her why she said when I was a baby Disneyland was new and popular and she didn't think she would ever be able to take my brother and I as she split with my father when I was just a baby. Now 19 years later here we were at WDW. She loved WDW. A part of her is still there as when she was diagnosed with cancer back in '97 we bought her a brick. It is over at the Poly - her favorite hotel. She also loved to cruise and I wish with all my heart that she would have lived long enough to sail on DCL. Guess that is one of the reasons I love Disney so much - I remember all the happy memories I had there with my mom!

Ok - I don't mean that to be a downer - that is a very happy memory for me!

So who is up to get #5000 ?

okay, now I'm talking to myself! Charlotte, can't figure out the time thing quickly. I've got to run off to a meeting, but I'll work on it later.

Have a great day everyone.

BTW, I did subscribe now, just have to go back and figure out how to check the post number.

As for the two characters with the same name - Gus

Gus was a mule in a live action Disney film of the same name and one of the mice in Cinderella.
