Hi everyone. Happy Wednesday afternoon.

I am sorry to say that Leslie and I could not hook up. All the children(cousin's) were having such a good time at Ft. Lauderdale beach off 17th street that I did not have the heart to make them all leave. I did get to speak to Leslie.
Leslie, It was great to hear your voice. I am sorry that it did not work out. We just got back from the beach at 3:30 and I know you are on your way to Orlando.
The beach was beautiful but windy. It hit about 79 today.
Barb, The weather has been lovely. They are expecting showers tomorrow night and all day Friday down here in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Have a great time.

I will be leaving to go back to the IL's tonight. I hope you all have a great rest of the week and I will be speaking to you all after Easter. Take care everyone, Gail

There's not much hope for the airlines, I guess...The access laws have been on the books for YEARS, for example, and, still, when I arrived at gate 15 in Orlando in January, the American Airlines agent stuck me in a wheelchair and left me there for two hours before the fuss I created finally convinced someone to send a pusher to take me off to get my luggage... If they had gate-checked my scooter and delivered it to the arrival gate I could have gotten my own luggage but OHHH, NOOO... "NATIONAL SECURITY measures prevent us from doing that...Don't worry (little girl?) we'll get you to wherever you need to go.... " Right....Ever tried to control a wheelchair one-handed?...Circles, nothing but circles...

HAW, HAW I got the last laugh...I'm listed as one of the plaintiffs who have filed suit against several airlines, with AA at the top, for bad deeds and unlawful bull****. Grrr

And I'd have to put Nassau on my short list of places I'd just as soon never get a guided tour of again...'nuff said...

kids are still packing they really like being like my pest friend jilljill BUT unlike her MY kids ALLWAYS forget things, underwear tooth brushes only one pair of shoes all those very important things.
so me never forget anything that I really need.

gaRry, I don't need to pack a corkscrew....the condo supplies that for me . I always forget something too. Last Dec. it was a toothbrush, last Aug. it was toothpaste - but my motto is .....if I forget it I will just buy it!!!
I'm still not packed. The Beauty and the Beast shirts have been found though, so you can find us.

Gary - I'm still here. I don't get to WDW until the 21st after a couple of days conventioning in Vegas.

We are still having great weather here. Should be in the seventies through Easter!

I hope everyone has a safe trip to wherever they are going and to all of you going to WDW please save some fun for me!

Hi all

This time tomorrow I will be in warmer weather. Not quite Fla but at least warmer than Michigan. We are stopping at my aunts in Ga for the night. I didn't think I would ever get away form the hospital tonight though. Had a report I had to get in before I left so... I can really relax for the next 10 days.

jilljill we are all looking forward to meeting up with your family. I am sure we will be able to find you. Not sure what we will be in but I know gaRry will have his wdw hat on you cannot miss that.

Virgil , thanks for the consultation, now GaRry will have to buy you a drink on the cruise. Looking forward to meeting you and the family next Thursday. Enjoy the cruise!!

Hope everyone that is getting to head off somewhere has a safe and relaxing trip.

paul sorry I will not make it , to visit. hade A proplem and now had too change things around. I was hoping to return to wdw for a while without the kids. again.
things changed and its one I don't control. well must make up for it on the ship. unless you are coming to chocolate meet I heard something about ???????

I guess it's time to finish packing - while gaRry packs weeks ahead I am the last minute type. Leaving in 6 hours and sooooo much to do. If just a car trip to Fla and wdw has me this keyed up I really would not want to be around me the night before we leave for the cruise.

Keep the thread on top I'll try to check in when we are at my parents.

The mean green machine is getting worse and worse!

Guess I'll just drive around in my new car while you're all gone. Today I heard "Celebration", cranked up the new stereo, rattled the back window, and pretended I was at the Sail-Away party.
Celebrate good times....come on!

jilljill...I'm still thinking about my favorite thing at WDW. Maybe GaRry's right.....Spacey Stacey. Let's see........it wasn't tasting the different sodas at Epcot.....eeww! One of the absolute BEST things we did was reserve the "Dick Tracy" kind of boat (forgot the name) to watch the Illuminations show at Epcot.
We loved the Safari tour at Animal Kingdom. And one of the attractions that DL doesn't have....I think it was Alien Encounter? That was cool. I wasn't sure I even wanted to do it, but it was great. And I loved watching the Electric Water Parade from our balcony at the Poly. DH's favorite attraction is the Monorail!!! LOL...no kidding!
