Last time I went diving was in Cabo San Lucas in ummm, 98 or so. I can't remember if I took more than one camera, although I DO remember where I got sunburned...

WAKE UP !!!

Do any of the cruisers try to attract fish to the snorkel sites on CC by spreading food around?

I'll never make it to 4,000 tonight

sigh........
I give up....

Good morning everyone! Happy Thursday!

Looks like nasty weather is headed out way tonight - lots of wind and rain - yuck!

Lynda that practice has been frowned upon for years since human food isn't good for them. I've heard of people bringing break and cheese whiz. Yuck.

We prefer to enjoy what fish we see on our own. Plus usually when you try the feeding thing you end up getting a run of fish that will usually freak out others.

I prefer a nice quiet snorkel gliding by and enjoying the sights.

To say the shareholder's meeting was long is a bit of an understatement - it lasted over 5½ hours :earseek:
Stanley talked for about 15 minutes then Roy talked about another 10 minutes - they were the only ones to get the crowd motivated and clapping. We sat about 6 rows in front of the family.
It was after 3:30 when the vote tallies were announced and it was quite impressive to hear the numbers.
Then I read at 9:00 tonight that the board had decided to split the Chairman and CEO positions and that George Mitchell was voted in as Chairman unamimously(sp?) :earseek: He received approximately 23% withheld votes and the board still elects him Chairman - go figure?!?

That seems silly. Obviously there was a reason that Save Disney wanted a no vote against George Mitchell as well. To have him be made Chairmain after getting 23% (which up until yesterdays numbers of 43% would have been high) makes no sense. I read somewhere yesterday the before yesterdays vote the highest vote of no confidence was 28%.

Happy Thursday everyone.

Hi Linda, I claimed 4000. I went to sleep early last night.

Very busy day today. I have my training session at the gym than off to DD school to do an a project for the children in the hospital with Aids. We are painting boxing shorts. From there it is off to Parent teacher conference for DS than gymnastics with DS and THAN in the evening I have a PTA metting. I am sure I will crash after that. Tomorrow is actually just as busy.

Raining in NY. It is suppose to rain through the weekend:(

Have a great day everyone. Fondly, Gail::MinnieMo

Gail - I wouldn't worry about losing any sleep yet - we are only at 3108 - so we have a few more days of posting until we get close to 4000 :D

Hope Karyn comes back before we get near the 5000 mark or it will be pirate: away.

For all of us having grey, rainy days:

Thanks for the link on the Radisson Mary.

At first I thought the Radisson may be the best for my family, but now after checking other options I have discovered other nice facilities as well. They are a little more expensive but you know ......we are on holidays.

Thank you for the GREAT picture, Mary. Of course, it's rain here today, too. :umbrella:
Sounds like there's a lot of moisture all over the country.
It never fails, though. Every time I am flying somewhere, it rains here. And like I said before, that's bad news in Phoenix, 'cause the airport folks don't know how to deal with bad weather. Hope they don't all get transferred to Chicago.

Lynda,
Thanks for helping me to not feel so guilty. I keep thinking of how happy she'll be when I get back!!!
You did a MUCH better job of talking to yourself than I could ever do!!! I love that: Cash & Carrie....and Penny. My big old dog that passed away 2 years ago this month, Wrangler, was half lab half border collie. He only dug holes to bury his bones. Then, after he died, we got a brother & sister, border collie/aussie mix. Sadie & Scout....what holy terrors they were!! I think they were trying to dig to China. And they brutalized Molly. They are (hopefully) enjoying life in a home with no other dogs now.
I had always said that when the last of the "big dogs" are gone, I'd get a little foo-foo dog, like a Yorkie. But now that we have the grandpuppy, I changed my mind. Too hard to house break, can't leave town w/o worrying about someone to take care of them. Nope...no more! (I've said that about 3 dogs ago). We've had many cats....they seem to disappear too easily here. Owls, coyotes. My only kitty who managed to out smart them all was Spice. Her sister was Sugar, but she didn't last long. Spice was 15 when she died of cancer last year. She slept on my chest every night. Definitely no more kitties! She would be impossible to replace, and truly truly broke my heart when she died.
Wow, that was depressing!

Let's take bets on whether I'll win or lose in Vegas.....you guys can do a "Pool" while I'm gone.

Back in a second....last minute laundry to take care of.

Stacey

GaRry...I didn't scare anybody off....I've been going to bed early and getting my beauty sleep

Well...the Stockholders vote....I guess the Tribe has spoken.
Too bad the contestants had a back-up plan. Those guys need their torches snuffed.

So, Lynda.....help me with the Mouseketeer answers.....now you can see why I only won $80 on the Wonder 2 years ago. I don't know enough of that stuff. Too much other junk in my brain.
They still have Mouseketeer during the day on the Magic, don't they? I think I'm one of the few who liked it. But it was more fun since I got my number called.

Anybody know the answer to my question a while back? If my friend's DD backs out of the cruise at the last minute, can we switch her reservation to my name?

Guess I'm all alone here.

Going to put some last minute items in my suitcase,
grab a bite to eat and be back before I have to head for the airport.

:sunny: Wishing for some sun
