Thank you for the GREAT picture, Mary. Of course, it's rain here today, too.
Sounds like there's a lot of moisture all over the country.
It never fails, though. Every time I am flying somewhere, it rains here. And like I said before, that's bad news in Phoenix, 'cause the airport folks don't know how to deal with bad weather. Hope they don't all get transferred to Chicago.
Lynda,
Thanks for helping me to not feel so guilty. I keep thinking of how happy she'll be when I get back!!!
You did a MUCH better job of talking to yourself than I could ever do!!! I love that: Cash & Carrie....and Penny. My big old dog that passed away 2 years ago this month, Wrangler, was half lab half border collie. He only dug holes to bury his bones. Then, after he died, we got a brother & sister, border collie/aussie mix. Sadie & Scout....what holy terrors they were!! I think they were trying to dig to China. And they brutalized Molly. They are (hopefully) enjoying life in a home with no other dogs now.
I had always said that when the last of the "big dogs" are gone, I'd get a little foo-foo dog, like a Yorkie. But now that we have the grandpuppy, I changed my mind. Too hard to house break, can't leave town w/o worrying about someone to take care of them. Nope...no more! (I've said that about 3 dogs ago). We've had many cats....they seem to disappear too easily here. Owls, coyotes. My only kitty who managed to out smart them all was Spice. Her sister was Sugar, but she didn't last long. Spice was 15 when she died of cancer last year. She slept on my chest every night. Definitely no more kitties! She would be impossible to replace, and truly truly broke my heart when she died.
Wow, that was depressing!
Let's take bets on whether I'll win or lose in Vegas.....you guys can do a "Pool" while I'm gone.
Back in a second....last minute laundry to take care of.
