20041009 - 10/9/04 - Western

Maybe converting the list to PDF for mac users. If you don't know how to do it, I'm sure you do, I know the other Jeff has plenty of expeirence converting to PDF after last years WDW Scavenger Hunt.

How's the UK? Have your tea yet?

No problem with the pdf convert.............

Just having Tea...... Scones...... Jam..... Clotted cream.......... When you come over I will make sure I have Clotted cream for u..... Tastes sooooooooooooooo much better than that in Palos...

Clotted cream? Sounds like something you find in the arteries of someone who eats to much McDonald's.
When ya'll visit us, there is a small tea house by our house that we want to try.

Do I really need to post my info? Ok here goes.

I'm 28 (be 29 by the cruise), I'm a network administrator for a non-profit organization. I work at WDW on the weekends as a monorail pilot and I'm pretty much a geek. My past times are computers, cars, flying planes and nerf.

I'm a disney addict (and in particular tigger). I'll be traveling with JenKatt (my lovely DW), my father and his wife, my DMIL, and possibly DBIL. Other possibles include my best friend and some of her friends as well as my boss and his family.

Don't forget Dad's legs.. I'm ordering a special case for them

Nothing wrong with being a geek. And it is a lot of fun. There aren't exactly a lot of Monorail Pilots in the world so it definitely is a unique experience.

It is kind of funny how many people are impressed with the job. I see it as playing with a 14 mile long electric train set on the weekends, but I'm definitely one of the more knowledgeable pilots out there (other cast members send guests to me with the very difficult questions about the trains) .

I'm also a very big Disney addict, in particular the Walt Disney World resort.

It's so funny to see kids with Jeff, especially little boys, He might as well be SuperMan or something... it's pretty cool

Of course Jeff hams it all up...

So FIl wants to do the Pub Tour of Key West (the Scavenger Hunt) to which SilentShot said, no need for a formal tour, we can do that on our own
My mom likes the idea of afternoon tea on Grand Cayman after we do whatever in the morning, I think Gaby was interested in Horseback Riding like we did this year and Jeff wanted to veg on a boat..
Too many people I say :hyper:

Yup Gaby wants to do the riding........ Veg in a boat sounds great... the Tea is cool.... and PUB CRAWL.......... YEAH BABY YEAH

We could veg on a boat in Key West, there are tours that do that, and then ride in Cayman... too much to do and so little time

Anybody on the 10/9 cruise still out there? Or have I been abonadoned?

If anybody does read this, do you know anything about Mr Sanchos in Cozumel? www.mrsanchos.com

I'm loooost

I am here.... Jen.... Work and travel have been taking its toll...
Will check the link in a minute...

How are you and Jeff doing??????

I have got the Spead sheet up to date with the people that have registered on it ready.. Will send it this weekend.

Looks interesting.................. Could get painful the next day with all that TEQUILA........... Or someone we Know could just go to sleep on us..... :jester: :teeth:

Hi, missed this thread earlier. I will be traveling with DH, DD 10 and DD 4. We were on the Eastern this past June and had a real good time. This is our first Western. Any suggestions for excursions? We will be flying in the day before and staying at the Radisson. Anyone else?

Although I haven't made a reservation yet, we will probably be staying at the Radisson. We did that last time and it worked out well with their shuttle to the port. :)

I don't know what we'll be doing the night before, my inalws and my mom have to fly down from NJ and I'm not sure if they'll fly into Tampa or into Orlando and we'll stay at an airport hotel up there.

As far as excursions, we really enjoyed the Catamaran racing in Key West, horseback riding in Grand Cayman and the dolphin royal swim in Cozumel. I think this year we'll dot he sea lion swim and then Mr Sancho's in Cozumel. Probably going to do tea in Grand Cayman, possibly after horseback riding again, and FIL wants to do the pub scavenger hunt in Key West.

Who knows!
