:teeth:

dtheboys - Welcome aboard. It's great to see more people joining us on the Easter cruise. I have 2 girls but their ages are the same as yours 8 & 14. We are also bringing along my oldest DD's friend who is 15. We will also be joined by DH's parents. They have cruised before, but never on Disney. DH has kindly allowed me to have a wine and champange DIS meet in our suite. Hope you can join us.

We are getting closer:jumping1: almost in double digits. After the first of the year I will start putting together a list for the cruise and start planning a specific time for the DIS meet. On the list I was thinking about putting information like, DIS name, real names, kids names and ages, cabin number, number of cruise(s) this will be for your family, and any other information you would like to add. Please email me at LNaylor863@aol.com if you would like this information on our list, otherwise I will just put what we have on the boards.

:jumping3: Happy New Year Everyone:jumping3:

LeiLani

Hi Leilani,

We are also going on this cruise. It is myself, DW, DD (30) and DGS, (11). This will be our 3rd DCL cruise. The other two on the Wonder ( 4 & 3 dayer).

Please add us to your list. We are also DVC'rs and own at VWL.

Can't wait to meet the Easter Bunny.

We're in a Cat 6 for this Trip. Had to have that verander.

Thanks for the invite.

Will email you PM on the link you provided with our Personal info.

Thanks again,

kennyk.

Hey kennyk its great to have you on board. I did get your email and thanks. It looks like we have a few DVC owners on board this time also.

We're doing the double digit dance:jumping1:

The girls and I are going to WDW in March (which is realy their spring break we are just taking them out of school for the cruise in April) so I am trying to plan for that trip and the cruise all at the same time. I think the girls and I will just keep our bags packed because by the time we get back from WDW we will only have about 3 weeks until the cruise. On second thought maybe I should at least wash those clothes first::yes::

Hope everyone had a safe and happy new year and I will start putting the list together next week when the girls go back to school.

LeiLani

I am getting way too excited. We just returned from 2 weeks in WDW, first at the Boardwalk, our "second home", and then the Poly. Had a blast, but looking forward to the relaxing cruise- no ride lines, no waiting for a table, no driving!

We are staying in a 1 bedroom suite, the larger ones everyone suggests asking for and we have a family suite we got with our DVC points.

Me, DH, and DS (age 11), and baby DD (she will be 11months at cruise time) are in the 1br. Grandma will bunk with DD (age 9 at cruise time) and DD (just turned 4 in WDW) in the other room.

I can't wait until April!! We are staying at the MCO Hyatt the night before as it is so easy to get to the boat from there and you don't have to worry with your luggage. Love it. Looking forward to meeting the other DIS'ers on board.

NeverlandClub :wave2: :boat: :cool1:

Hi neverlandclub,

I know what you mean. I can not wait to see that big beautiful ship. We are also staying at the MCO Hyatt the night before so maybe we can meet up that night. Grandparents will be arriving around 10:30am and we get into Orlando at 12:30pm. We are taking a Limo out the next morning so it should be great.

I am going to start the list this week so if you would like your information included please email me at LNaylor863@aol.com. I was thinking about including information like: names, ages (kids only if you prefer), cabin number, early or late seating for dinner, any celebrations you might be having while on board, and maybe where you are from.

We're getting closer and I can't wait. I am more excited than the kids.:hyper: :jumping1:

LeiLani

Thanks again for all your hard work. Perhaps we can meet for drinks the night before at the Hyatt.

Melissa :cool1: :cool1: Double digit dancing!!

Yea! My countdown works!!:jumping1:

Hi Melissa, & LieLani

Welcome aboard,

We are also staying at the Hyatt on Friday night. We are taking DCl transfers though and then on our return staying over one night at WDW because air fares are cheaper to fly home on Sunday than Saturday.

See you all at the Hyatt.

Melissa, we also have a Grandson who will be traveling with us who is 11. He loves the clubs on board and will be using them extensively. We are at 2nd seating if I hadn't mentioned that before.

Sail away.

kennyK

Hi KennyK,

Looks like we have a few people staying at the Hyatt the night before. Maybe we can set up a time so we can all meet before we get on board. We would love to do drinks or something on Friday night but I will have to look at our schedule. We are taking DH's parents and the older girls over to the Grand Floridian to go to dinner at Victoria and Alberts. If it doesn't work out for Friday night maybe Sat morning before we all head to the ship. Our limo is scheduled to pick us up at 9:30. I am sure we will all be so excited and up long before that time. Once everyone gets their schedules down and knows what time they will arrive we can try to set something up.

LeiLani

Just realized that we are only 2 cabins down from you guys! We are in 8034, still unsure of my mom's room as we are hoping to get her closer to us than she is now. I guess we will be seeing a lot of each other. LOL

NeverlandClub:wave:

NeverlandClub,

That's great you are only a couple doors down from us, maybe we will see a lot of each other.

I made our reservations for Victoria & Alberts. Dinner is at 6 so we will probably leave the Hyatt at 5 then return around 9:30. It would be great to meet some of you guys for drinks either before or after, so let me know if anyone is interested. I know the hours take up prime time so if it doesn't work out that's ok. If not for drinks the night before, maybe the next morning we could meet briefly before we leave for the port. The limo is picking us up at 9:30.

I am starting to put the list together. I have information on dtheboys, kennyK, & neverlandclub. I will probably email or PM the list to everyone so if you want to include any more information besides what you have listed on the boards please email me at LNaylor863@aol.com. I am looking for; names & ages, cabin #, where you are from, how many Disney cruises you have done, early or late dinning, and any special celebrations while on board.

Thanks everyone,
LeiLani

Time to bump this thread back to page 1. I didn't even know there was a new Easter thread. I was lurking around the first Easter thread wondering why there was much activity on it. Now i'm on the right page.

Hey Denvick ! Where are you? Are you still onboard for this Easter?

:earsboy: :earsgirl: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Hey Hans Solo, it's great to have you over here. I am glad I sent you the pm, maybe I should do the same for Denvick. Like I said in the pm I am trying to put a list together for everyone if you would like to email me the address is LNaylor863@aol.com. I will put everyone on the list, but if you would like to have more information on there just let me know.

LeiLani

Hi everyone! Hope you are all getting excited for the cruise! Is anyone else planning out their port days yet? I know we want to do the jeep safari tour in cozumel, sounds like fun! We plan to rent a car in Grand Cayman and see the island on our own. Don't really have plans for Key West, just walk around and check the place out.

On the ship, I want to have brunch and dinner at Palo. This is our 3rd cruise and we have yet to eat there!

What activities are you looking forward to doing?:boat:

garRy,

That's great. I will be keeping my fingers crossed that you are able to join us. This will be our first time to take 2 cruises in one year also, so I am pretty excited. Of course, the kids do not know about the Christmas cruise yet, we are trying to keep it a surprise. It gets harder and harder every day not to let something slip. I am trying to put together a list for this group, so if you do decide to go just email me your information at LNaylor863@aol.com. I hope to have the list updated with the information I have by Friday. Keep us posted. Remember, wine and champange in Walt's suite.

LeiLani

Hi Everyone,

Well I'm just sitting in front of my computer reading the words of the DIS forums, listening to "Live365" Disney music channels and I can't wait till April and the cruise.

We have been reviewing the tours but have not decided yet. My daughter and grandson are going to do the catamaram race at Key West, They also have a neat schooner cruise with the tour train included which looks interesting. Maybe some beach and ray swimming at the other stops.

Haven't decided which meal we want to skip for Palo's yet. The menu's for the dining rooms all look great. (I like to eat, Ha, ha)

My grandson is starting to get excited and with this winter that won't quit I'm ready for the warm sun.

Well that's it for now.

Counting those days down.

Kennyk

Boy, I am counting those days with you KennyK. The girls and I have a trip planned to WDW in March, so I have to get through that first. It is supposed to get down to around zero here tonight and the wind is blowing like crazy so the wind chill is going to be about -25. I just keep thinking about our up coming trips and warm thoughts.

Excursions - in Key West we are looking at doing a jet ski tour. We saw them last year right near the port but did not have time to do them so we thought that might be fun. In Grand Cayman we are doing stingray city, and in Cozumel we are going to do the swim with the dolphins. At CC DH and his Dad are going on the seahorse snorkel, the teenagers are going parasailing, and the rest of us are just going to relax on the beach.

I am still looking for a good day to do a wine and champange (or soda if you don't drink) meet in our cabin. Anyone have any suggestions? We are pretty flexible and we have late dinning. Maybe Monday or Thursday from say 4:30 to 5:30 or 6, or would Tuesday be better since we leave GC at 5pm. If we do it later in the week I think we should try to set up a general meet before hand. On our cruise last March we met on Deck 10 at the sail away party. Everyone tried to have on something lime green so we could pick out fellow DISers. What does everyone think? One last thing, on the Christmas cruise for next year we are trying to set up a Palo brunch for everyone who wants to go. If anyone is interested in doing something like this I think we plan to do Palo brunch on Thursday. Let me know if anyone is interested. You guys are probably beginning to think I am the cruise director.:boat:

LeiLani

What a terrific resource this site has been for me, DH, DS 10 and DS 8 in planning our first cruise! As if we weren't excited enough already, reading all your enthusiastic comments is makes the waiting even harder! We look forward to joining all of you on April 10th.
