2004 Member Cruise?

Hi All,

Just back from 2 wonderful weeks at the BCV's. Enjoyed everything including 2 Member Days. Purchased an add-on while we were there. The new points are burning a hole in our pockets. We want to book a cruise for 2004, but are waiting for info on a Member Cruise.

Has anyone heard if they are planning a 2004 Member Cruise and if so what the dates are.

I think I read somebody mention that 2005 was the mostly time they would be doing a member cruise...but I'm not sure..

Personally 2005 would work better for me..

A reliable friend told me that in 2004 DVC will be concentrating their efforts on the newest DVC resort to open - Saratoga Springs .

A co-worker recently told me he tried to book a 3 or 4-day DCL in the middle of March 2004 but was told the entire ship was already reserved for a special group tour! Could it be a DVC cruise? Only time will tell!!! Annmarie

I would be VERY surprised if the member cruise was as early as March 2004. I don't remember the exact dates from last year, but I think it was about this time that we were allowed to book for the 2003 member cruise?

Following that train of thought (since the 2003 cruise was in February), we would be allowed to book in September, so we would either have to have already gotten word (so we could start planning) or would get word very VERY soon...

Does anyone remember how far in advance they announced the 2003 cruise (how long from announcement to booking)???

The the Feb. 2nd DVC Member Cruise they took reservations on Saturday 8/24. I think we found out about it may 2-3 weeks before that. I don't think it was much longer than that.

2005 would work much better for us. We have a WDW trip planned already for 2004 and we are already booked on the 10 day Christmas 2004 sailing of the Magic.

I just checked DCL on line reservations. There is no 3 day cruise listed for March 18th - 21st.
I will ask CM tomorrow when I make ressies.
