2004 December Trip!!

My daughter and I are going to be at the Polynesian Dec. 5th through the 11th!! Doing MVMCP on the 7th!! Who else is going to be there during this time???
This is my daughter and I's first time going to Disney for a week without anyone else along. I am both looking forward to it and a little nervous about doing it alone!! But it is fun planning it for the two of us!!!

We will be there from the 3rd through the 11th with our two daughters (although, they don't know they are going yet!)

We will also be at MVMCP on the 7th!

I am having a great time planning this trip---this is the first one that it is going to be just my daughter and myself!! We are having a great time together pouring over books deciding where we want to eat--and not having to worry about trying to make other people happy--just the 2 of us need to be happy on this trip ha ha!!

My daughter turns 8 on dec 5th--the day that we arrive at the Polynesian!!! Since she turned 5--we go to disney to celebrate her birthday!! We can't wait to get there!!

We are going too! I saw someone else post with these dates and wonder if there was something to it. I had checked availability with the BAT code and this was what they had. It worked out well though because my daughter turns 2 on the 6th. We just had initially wanted different days.
I know POP Warner will be at Disney 5-11th so I wonder if people avoided thoses dates so BAT had availability. Pure speculation on my part.
Doing Very Merry on the 5th, Candlelight on the 7th.

DW, DD23, DS18, DD16 and myself for what will probably be our last family trip for a LOOOOOOng time.

MzEeyore-My DD 8th birthday is on Dec. 5th also!!!! My DH 37th birthday is the 5th as well (what a gift he got 8 years ago!! ) This is our first trip, and the girls don't know yet (we're not telling them until 2 days before we go)-but I AM SOOO EXCITED!!!
What are you going to do special for that day?? I think I'm going to do the Candlelight Processional the night of the 5th with dinner at the Coral Reef (more for my husband's part of the big birthday day). My original plan was for us to go to Magic Kingdom that morning & try to get the princess breakfast to celebrate Alison's part of the day-BUT I just read in my PassPorter that Sun. is typically one of the most crowded days at the MK-so now I'm rethinking that choice. Any advice??

I bet that present you presented to your husband almost 8 years ago was the best present he ever got for his birthday!!!

I thought about going to the MK too but I read the same thing that you did so I am not sure yet what park we are going to be going to. I think we are going to play that one by ear. Her favorite park is the Animal Kingdom, so we may go there for a little while. I know that my daughter wants her birthday breakfast at O'Hana's at the Polynesian. I am not sure yet where we are having dinner. I have 2 new princess dresses that I bought online, that will be delivered to our room along with a birthday basket once we are in our room. But other than that, I am just letting her set the pace and tell me what she wants to do and that will be what we do. This is our first to WDW by ourselves so I think we can get away with a lot more. Usually we have 4 or 5 other members of the family that go but this trip is strictly a mother, daughter trip and I think we are going to have an awesome time.

We will be there 12/0-12/10 AKL and SSR. Our DD's 5th birthday is the 7th and we are hoping CRT for breakfast. We plan on MVMCP on 12/9. You all have a great trip!

I just posted on the strategies board the question about going to MK on Sunday & the couple responses I got back were that it didn't really matter for that time of year. So I think I'll stick to my original plan and cross my fingers that I can get PS for CRT on the 5th!!

I just bought the Sleeping Beauty dress for her (my younger daughter will get the Ariel gown & crown for her 5th birthday in 3 weeks ). I've been gathering gifts to bring for the past few months-also picked up Disney Princess walkie talkies-thought those would be fun for her & helpful if we want to split up sometimes (do you think DH will carry a pink/purple walkie talkie around?! )

We have those walkie talkies!!! I don't know if your husband will carry those around or not lol. At least your husband goes!! Mine won't go with us to Disney!!! My daughter's favorite princess is Ariel!! Are you getting the mermaid dress or the wedding dress for Ariel. My daughter has the wedding dress which is just beautiful! I am still looking for the mermaid dress. If the MK isn't really busy that is more than likely where we will end up but I have no clue what to do that day. That is our first day at WDW so it is kind of up in the air. I will have it all planned out soon enought I guess!!

My mother and I will be going this December 8-13th. This will be our second Mother/Daughter trip and I am really looking forward to it. We seem to have the same ideas and we both really enjoy packing as much in to the trip as possible. Should be a blast! We will be at MVMCP on the 9th, and it will be the first time we've been over the Holidays.

My DD9 and I will be at the WL 12-04 to 12-11 and doing MVMCP on 12/07.

I plan on doing the CP dinner package on 12/06, just waiting to start making those PS's!!

We just got back from a week at Myrtle Beach and one of the best things about that trip was adding to my Disney Trip change jar!!

Joanie-I'm not sure which Ariel dress it is-it's in the catalog (not the $55. one though). My youngest daughter's whole party is centered around Ariel, as are the majority of her gifts (in addition to the dress & crown, I picked up a bunch of the clearance stuff from the disney store-bathing suit, cover-up, beach shoes etc.-figured she'd have all of it for our trip!).

I just can't wait for this trip!!! Yes, my DH is going, but I know he's wishing I'd stop obsessing over it!!

DH and I will be at WL 12/4 - 12/10 and we are doing MVMCP on 12/7 and 12/9. We have PS for LTT on 12/7 at 5:15. Looks like there will be lots of Dis'ers there that week! We can't wait!
