Date : December 6, 2003, Saturday.

Time : 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.

I haven't seen anyone on the DIS say that they were going to come to this 2003 Mousefest Meet this year.

Will anyone...will just at least one person...please come to this event and let me please have the honor of "greeting" them???????

I really don't know what I am supposed to do yet. But Deb Wills owner of www.AllEarsNet.com (formally www.wdwig.com) was asking for a volunteer from each Disney web site to be a "greeter".

Once I realized that she had already talked to Pete Werner, owner of www.DISboards.com and www.WDWINFO.com , I volunteered. I'm not a moderator or anything like that, but I will try to represent the DIS as best as I can. If allowed, I will wear my limegreen DIS t-shirt.

So....Is anyone going to come to this Mousefest Meet and look for me?

Or will I be standing there all by myself?

I know what James, Dan, and John look like. But could ASFCurly and TLinden16 come look for me and introduce yourselves because I have never met you.

As a matter of fact, I wish everyone would please introduce themselves to me. Especially with your DIS name and your first name.

I think that their will be hundreds and hundreds of people from all the web sites there as you can imagine. So it may be hard to see you guys. But I will be looking for you guys.

Like a lot of Disney loving people, I have always dreamed of working at WDW...lol. Well even though this is not an official Disney job, I will be on Disney property as a volunteer greeter at the Mousefest meet and greet on Saturday.

Please forgive me if I don't remember your name each time that I see you. I am just terrible at remembering names.

And Kim (Snowwark), I can never forget you or your name. Do you know why? Because two years ago at DIS-Con-I, after the Beach Club opening reception, I was seating on a bench in front of the pier to the Beach Club. I was watching the night lights of the Boardwalk. I was actually very tired from walking and contiplating whether I could walk around the lake to watch Illuminations and then go to Jellyrolls with everyone.

You came right up to meet with that beautiful, warm smile of yours and introduced yourself. We started talking about the DIS when others started to gather.

I remember you giving me a beautiful Canadian pin, and I was giving out American USA flag pins and the NYC Twin Tower memorial pin to you.

I needed that warm smile from you that day. I didn't know it at the time, but I will never forget your kindness that evening, and everytime that I meet you.

You're a very special person, Kim.

Thanks for the directions to the meet Deb. About three years ago (July 2001), the Swan/Dolphin Cheerleaders held a reception at the Copa Terrace. We called both the Swan and Dolphin hotels and neither front desk had a clue as to the location of the Copa Terrace or the Copa Banana. Or Copa anything for that matter.
