One of my favorite events at Walt Disney World during December is buying and attending a dinner package for EPCOT's Christmas Processional.

Last year, disneycub (Steve), hosted an unofficial DIS mini-meet. He was very trustworthy because he used his own credit card to pay for Barb, lowellsdad, RaySharpton, Sandra B. and his own tickets and reservations. We all sent in checks to him, and we had never met each other before.

We had a great time eating dinner at Japan and the CP was inspiring. And my left shoulder was very damp...right Barb? Hahaha.

Would anyone be interested in attending the EPCOT Christmas Processional on Monday, December 2, 2002 and/or Monday, December 9, 2002.

I'll probably be going to both.

I know the 2002 dates have not been announced, the 2002 narrators have not been announced, the 2002 package prices have not been announced, but I'm bored.

Here is some past 2001 and 2000 information below. Just click on the links.

Times, restaurants or even dates to be voted on later.

1. A general description, old dates, times, prices, etc. of EPCOT's Christmas Processional.

2. Description of past 2001 Christmas Processional narrators.

3. Photos of EPCOT's Christmas Processional.

Me, Me, Me. :D

Okay, so I would be very interested in a CP mini meet if:
1) It's not already an 'official event'
2) An extra day isn't added to the 'official events'
3) You (Ray) promise to bring your Big Dogs again. :D

This is something I have never done before so yes, please count me in. Im still not sure what dates I will be around, but I think I could do it before DISCON.

Thanks Ray, yet another great idea!

Emma

I'd sure be interested, Ray! Nice thing about the CP is that it's every night from the day after Thanksgiving until 12/30. I'd prefer a pre-convention night, because I'm pretty sure I'll go home on Dec. 8 or 9. I'd also like to attend MVMCP BEFORE the convention, so I'll be able to stay awake! :D I'm hoping there will be a party on Sunday or Monday, Dec. 1st or 2nd.

Count me in too, Ray. I can't miss the Candlelight Processional. As to which date, I"ll have to wait until closer to DIS-Con to figure that one out.

Me too, Ray!!!!!

I hope that the narrator is Andy Garcia!!!*wink*

Ray, you know I'm there. I don't know about a date yet, either. I would actually prefer after the convention, if I have to choose. But I'll wait for DIS-CON announcements before I make a choice. I did love Wayne Brady last year. He did a fantastic job. I'm still kicking myself for not telling him so when I literally ran into him outside the Yacht Club gift shop afterwards! I didn't want to interrrupt him, he was deep in conversation with a Disney exec. Won't pass up that opportunity again! :)

Count me in, Ray. Last year was sooooo very special, and just one of the memories I'll treasure for a long time.

Please add Barry & I to your list, Ray! I love the CP, definitely want to do it again! I think before DIS-CON would probably work best for us! :D

Not sure yet if I'm attending the "official" Dis-Con events, but DH and I are planning on being at WDW during that time anyway, and we'd love to do a CP dinner package mini-meet. Count us in!

Me. I didn't get to go last year because I didn't plan ahead. I tried to get tickets on that day, but I didn't have any luck.

I would love to attend CP. You can put me down as a definite maybe (depending on the night that you choose).

Count me in as a definite maybe, depending on which night you plan for!

Dang...I may need to smuggle myself into WDW a day earlier!!!! ROFL...I won't be there until the 3rd and am leaving on the 9th but you guys have a blast! This has been something that we have done now the two years that we have been down during the holiday season and it is a MUST on our list!!!!

:( :( BOO HOO!!! I won't be able to make either date!. I'm not coming in until the 3rd and leaving on the 9th. There is no way I can sneak in another day.:( :(

:( Darn it Nancy! :( It's tough when there are so many fun things to do. :( Hopefully next year though. :)

Ray, I'm leaning towards the 9th. :) I hope you are too. :)

Count me in!!!!
I love the CP, yesterday I listened to the CP CD in my car (I know - I'm a bit early:D )

Absolutely, Tia. I plan on tentatively going Monday, December 9, 2002, but most people are going home by then.

I also wanted to go more than once, too. Maybe three times. I'll be there until the 17th.

I guess we'll see what everyone wants to do after the official itinerary comes out.

Sandra B. I wish that you could have been with us last year, but they did sell out that particular show.

Nancy, December99...you never know what the official itinerary will look like. I bet there will be a night available that a lot of DISers might want to go.

And everybody else...you know how we changed and tweeked our DIS mini-meets. I can't wait until the official itinerary comes out.

Wouldn't it be nice if everyone could go together.

Hey...it is a Magical place and anything can happen at Walt Disney World.

I have another thread here:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=215355

To try and decide what everyone wants to do on Sunday night, December 1, 2002 and Monday, December 2, 2002.

So many choices like:

1. Holiday Tour and Dinner.
2. Candlelight Processional dinner package.
3. Cirque du Soleil.
4. MVMCP
5. Fantasmic dinner package and Osborne Spectacle of Lights.
6. Universal Studios Day (we could still do a night thing).
7. What other things?

So many choices...so little time.
