....... are you partying or seeing it in quietly? ( Or if you are reading this in 2003 (!!!) how's your head :p ? )

Are you making any New Year Resolutions?

Hi Shirley

We are seeing in the New Year quietly here..........just me, Chris and Mum. James and Katie are both out partying the night away!

My new year resolutions are:

To make at least ONE Christmas Card and ONE Greeting Card every week. I've made 74 cards this Christmas and by Christmas Eve it was a bit of a rush to get the last one or two (for Chris and Mum) finished!

To make sure I tidy my workspace after each project rather than bounding on to the next one! I get my office in such a mess.

I am not even gonna go there with the slimming/eating healthier one!

LOL

Happy New Year to you and all the family.
:D :D :D

Well, as for me I hope to be able to watch the ball drop at midnight ( yes in the US people watch balls drop , LOL ) that's if I don't fall asleep before that...maybe I should take a nap!
As far as resolutions go....my New Years resolution is not to make any resolutions!
Happy New Year to all my fellow Brit friends!!!

We will be spending the evening at home. I am not a big lover of New Year celebration's.

But I hope everyone has a wonderful time!!!

Kaylee:D

Afraid once me Christmas is over the rest of the month is a bit flat and I'm just waitin for the holidays to end so I can get back to a sort of normal routine.

Yes, I AM a happy bunny aren't I ? ;)

We've never really gone in for the New Year Party do-dah and prefer a quiet night in.

We probably won't see in the New Year as I've got to be up at 6 to do the papers with the littlun (Gaz goes out at 5 !)

Don't let me spoil yer fun, though.

Happy New Year, everyone

Oh, and as far as Resolutions go, I'm hopin people will be seein less of me in 2003
I know most of you think the same but THAT's not what I meant!
Sheddin the odd couple of stone off me rear end will make the flights so much more enjoyable next year!

Have a good'un everybody, I wish you everything you hope for in 2003.

I'm here on my own with the kids, dog and tv for company! :)

Watching Lord of the Rings (for the umpteenth time!) on DVD and drinking some Bucks Fizz - Cheers! ;)

Have a great 2003 you lot.

My resolutions - get fitter and hopefully slimmer! Say the same every year - ah well, I live in hope!! :)

We stayed home and had a quiet evening. My head is fine :teeth:

I just wanted to wish everyone happy New Year before I went back to the hospital.

I hope all of us have a great 2003.

Well we finally got to bed around 5.00am!! We had some friends round and had a great evening/morning!
Some of our friends are Scottish and it has become a tradition of ours to ensure they have a really good Hogmanay :teeth:

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! Dang, I just recently got used to writing 2002 on my checks!

This is a big year for us. It will be our 20th wedding anniversary in June. Let's hope it's a really good year, with no terrorist attacks, a rising stock market, and no war with Iraq. :)

Kath, I pray your mother improves as well. Take care.

Cheers everyone!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Unfortunately, we haven't got a holiday planned this year as we have decided to get a conservatory instead! Boring I know, but very useful. Hopefully I will win the lottery and we'll get to Florida somehow this year or next! Never mind, reading about everyone's trips is the next best thing.

Happy New Year, everyone! :teeth:

We don't usually do much at all on NYE, unless we're staying with the in-laws. Last night we stayed up a little later than usual, but that was about it!

No resolutions for me ;)

Happy New Year everyone.

We got back in about 2am, we were just visiting family and were not drinking:) (we were driving) Our heads are fine too

We dont usually do anything on NYE as a rule, but we had to make an effort as our DD didnt want to stay in. Next year she can go out with her friends.

Hi everyone and a Happy New Year.

We went to a party evening at DH's golf club, I was drinking orange juice so my head's OK! Got home just after 1.30am and now just feeling extremely tired. So it's off to bed soon for me. Good night!

We spent New Years eve in DLP and saw in the New year in Mainstreet USA:):) Had a fun day even though it was a bit cold at times and DH was poorly and went back to the car to sleep for a couple of hours:(

It was a long day as we were up at 7am, I drove to DLP from our gite which took about 2 or so hours. We managed to do all the rides we wanted to except for the Peter Pan one (queues were far too long). The herberts did tremendously well - no moaning or whinging even though we were on our feet all day apart from when we stopped for meal breaks. Luckily the rain held off but it did get quite damp around 9pm which made it feel much colder.

We managed to get a good spot in MAin Street USA for the New Year countdown and watched the fireworks. We finally got back to the car at about 1.45am and I drove back to the gite, arriving about 3.13 am!! Needless to say, I didn't surface 'til about midday when we lit a lovely log fire and drank ourselves silly on Pernod!! Well, as they say: when in France........

 ;)

It was well worth iit IMHO and it wasn't as busy as I was expecting.
