Please help! Do you think this is legit? I received an offer for a Disney Chase Visa Rewards Card that states I can get a $200 Disney Rewards for applying. I couldn't pass the offer up since we are going on a cruise soon, but I am scared that this might be a hoax. The application had "To the Ashley Family" (that is my sister's last name), but it had my address. At first they said no, because it had her last name. After I explained that she doesn't nor ever has lived in the house with us and that it had our address, they agree to go ahead and extend the offer to us as well. I am just afraid the offer is too good to be true. Please respond if you have heard or receive the offer so I will be able to sleep at night. I already have the regular Disney Visa Card.

Yeah, they sent us one, but I already have a Disney Visa---go figure. I'd go for it!

I just got a Disney Visa and I didn't get $200.

I'm getting tired of all this money and discounts being tossed around. I don't get any of it.

Went shopping late on "Black Friday", everything I purchased is now cheaper. Folks are constantly writing here about their 20/30/40% off deals at Disney, I am going to pay out my rear. Offers from the Disney Visa to get gift cards when applying, I got none last month when I got my Visa.

Just my luck. After being poor for many many years and the kids finally old enough for my wife to go back to work, we can finally afford a nice Christmas and afford our first vacation and everyone gets great deals except me.

They sent it to me and we already have a disney visa. What good did it do me?

My husband and I both already have a disney visa. That is why I was worried about it. I went ahead and applied. Wondering if we will get it with us already having an account.?

if they sent me that I'd get the card...how do I get the offer?

So let's get this straight--one the one hand, they're offering $200 bonuses to get new customers to sign up (which is one of the biggest bonuses I've ever heard of for getting a new credit card). On the other hand, they're raising interest rates and closing accounts on good customers because "times are so bad".

If times are so, so tough for the poor banks that they have to close people's accounts who've done nothing wrong, then why on earth are they offering $200 bonuses for new ones? I really despise the big banks.

Very good point!

We have two Disney Visas. We got the $100 offer a while back and took it for a second Disney Visa.

Our rates are still 13% interest (12.99%) and they haven't said they would close our account yet! I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I have never carried a balance, but we use the card monthly and pay a lot of our bills through it to get the Disney points.

Yeah, I don't always get them either.

As far as Disney.....I am the Disney on the cheap queen though....not everyone likes Disney the way we do it.

Go figure, in fact my daughter had one of the WaMu (now Chase) with zero balance and they closed it and didn't even advise her. Now she gets this offer as well and they already have the Disney Visa as well. Very Odd if I must say so.

We got an offer for $100 would you be willing to share the link to sign up for $200 we were planning to do this anyway and that's a much better deal

I have only seen that mentioned as a targeted offer (the $200) - meaning only open to those who received invites.

It is only by invitation. I did get one and you need the specific authorization code they provide in the letter. Each code is different and once you enter it, your personal information shows up.

I would be interested to see if you do get it. Our offer said it is for new customers only.....hmmm

I signed up for this offer and bought a cup of coffee from Starbucks :dance3: . I am waiting for the card to come.....you only had to make one purchase.

Crazy----if it is for new customer, why are current customers getting it? Of course, mine was not addressed to me, it was to The Alston Family. Maybe it is coming from a mailing list:confused3

Isn't it strange that yours was sent with the wrong family name but your address? Mine was to the Ashley family with my address. That is so close to the name yours was addressed with. I sure hope it is processed. Our credit is excellent so that shouldn't be a problem, just not sure since we already have a Disney Card, but when I told the lady that she said no problem. We will see in about a week I guess.

No, we ARE the Alston family, LOL. I was just saying it wasn't addressed to one person individually, like most offers. It was addressed like one of the many Disney mailers I get.

Minnie10 - Did your second Disney Visa Card application go through? I am in the same boat - already a Disney Visa Card holder - but would like to take advantage of the $200 gift card offer letter we received yesterday. I just wanted to see if someone else had success with getting a second card to get the $200 offer.

My husband has a Disney Visa but I don't...we got the offer last night so I'm applying for myself and I guess we'll see what happens ;) That $200 would be nice for our trip in May!
