200 BWV points - $8 (Update)

We're closing on a resale tomorrow (7/12) and will have 200 BWV points good through 8/31/04 to rent for $8. It will likely be a week before Disney reflects this but I can call and check availablility tomorrow if you like.

I am interested in renting (3) studios from August 15 to August 20 at the Boardwalk villas. I calcullated this to be a total of 165 points. Can you find out the availability of the studios for these nights.

BWV August 15-19 for three studios is 198 points (14 each for the 15th and 13 each for the other 4 nights. You may have been thinking about standard view but these are not available. Likely available at OKW but unlikely to be available at EPCOT at this late date.

Thank you for your answer. Are you saying that the pref view is available for three suites at the boardwalk villas. If so are there any other charges in addition to the 198 points such as taxes.

If the boardwalk is not available, are you able to use the points at
any other resort?

I checked and can't get even one studio that week let alone three. Might have better luck at OKW or SSR. There are no room taxes. OKW would be ~ 153 points. Please email sjenney@partners.org with any questions.

I am interested in renting points for 11/7-11/12 of 2004 at any of the DVC's. I am looking for a studio. Any help would be great. I am new to this and really hope to be able to stay at one of the DVC's, especiall to celebrate DD 5th birthday. Thanks for your help, pamela

This post refers to points expiring 8/31/04. However, I will have points expiring 8/31/05 that will work but they will be $10. Please email me at sjenney@partners.org if interested.

We officially closed yesterday and I have confirmed with Disney that that points are in my account now and are available to book for travel through 8/31/04. I have sent notes back to many of you but may have missed a few. For the most part, I don't think there is much for consecutive sun-thurs available anywhere but OKW and SSR. However, some people may cancel and open up reservations for others. Please email me at sjenney@partners.org if SSR/OKW works for you.
