So makes 20 years since Isabel graced where I live with its prescence.
Every year on this day I relive it in my head and how glad someone was looking out for me because I shouldn’t be here.
The week prior it rained a lot softening up the soil and roots it wasn’t even the height of Isabel that put a tree and part of a big limb in my bedroom with me in it.
After that I never underestimated nature.
Our neighbors were great and we pulled our resources together and helped each other through that crazy time.
