We have a small trailer, and were wondering if we would be allowed to camp in the pop up area. Is there a water and electric hookup on these sites? Would there be any reason to not do this? I'm looking at it from a purely cost perspective.
Thanks!

Yes, there is water and electric, as well as wifi and cable. The only think lacking on the tent/pop up sites is sewer hook up. I've seen small trailers on those loops, but technically, it's against the rules so it's kind of a gamble. I doubt if they would tell you no once you were there, but Disney is nothing if not inconsistent.

Our pop up is 26' feet long when opened, so it would easily fit.

I think you can but why don't you just call and ask?

Ditto. Many threads about this in past. One recent in which I posted pics from one of those “drive through the loop videos” clearly showing many class c’s and other travel trailers and RV’s that were neither pop ups, tents or van type campers. I think best way is call the actual Fort Wilderness campground (not a Disney reservations number) and tell them your equipment type and concern and get their answer. Good luck!

PS: I do not how to post a link to the thread, but there is one that should not be too far down called “Runaway camper/site question” that was the most recent discussion where I posted the aforementioned screen shots from the 2000 loop.

My pop up is about 20 feet closed, and 26 feet opened. Im thinking you will fit fine.
