20% off rooms only

I called this morning and found out that I have a 20% code. So this will save me about $370 off of a 10 night stay at the POR (yay!)

Before I ask my travel agent to apply it (since Disney won't modify my package in many way unless my agent calls), does anybody know if I apply this code today, and, in the unlikely event, that a 40% code comes out under my name, can I still apply the 40% code later? I asked the CM about this but she didn't sound certain.
