20% off pin emailed to me

Hi. I just received a pin via email for 20% off a value resort. I'm excited to have received the pin. I was just hoping it would be 40%. When I book, can I book it online, then immediatly call to have the pin applied or should I call and book through them. TIA!
Is it possible that I'd receive another pin later before my trip for 40% off?

I would call reservations directly because not all resorts may have rooms available for your dates with the pin code offer. Also, if you book with reservations your deposit will not be due for 14 days - on line it is due immediately.

Be sure to tell them you do not want trip insurance and when they ask what credit card you would like to use just tell them you'll call before the due date - if you want time to think about it.

what would happen if there was a hurricane or something and I didn't have trip insurance, how would that work?

I got the same 20% off pin today in my email and booked it! At first I tried to book online but didn't see a place to put the code so I asked the online CM and she said to use the pin I'd need to book over the phone.

I got the 20% off today too, but it's not good for June when we are going and 20% off isn't enough to make me move our dates and pull the kids out of school. Now if it were 40% that would be different.

Are you booking room only or a pkg?

We never get insurance for room only and have never, in 30 years, had to cancel a trip, thank goodness. For many years we travelled last July thru late August - no hurricane ever caused a problem. We were at Disney during a hurricane in the early '90's.

If there as a hurricane, then your filght might be delayed or cancelled and hopefully the airline would get you out asap.

A call to Disney to let them know your new arrival date (they would be aware of the weather situation in FL).

Be sure the trip insurance covers weather related issues.
