Anybody know how this referral stuff works? I've had 2 people purchase from my referral link and they are not showing up on my account. It's really ticking me off. The site says they will send you an email, but I' haven't gotten anything. I'd really like my card for free, but if this site isn't going to credit my referrals, I'm not sure I want to use them

Patience. I just checked the Living Social app. They've sold over a million of these gift cards in less than eighteen hours. Give them a chance to catch up on all the e-mail notifications and referral credits. But I think you need to get a third person to buy before your deal is free

Hm. I've gotten many deals for free from Living Social. Your little people in the "get a free deal" area should show up as green immediately. I've always gotten notifications right away (though I think they're getting slammed with this) but the friends who bought off my link never got a confirmation that it would count for me.

Pro: Great Deal!!

Slightly disappointed: Friends just received their email today (so no chance of mine for free) and I was expecting my code today (as stated by LivingSocial - yesterday) instead I received my confirmation email today stating, “We'll send you an email tomorrow letting you know how you can get your Amazon Gift Card* code.”

Overall: this was my first time using LivingSocial, not completely smooth (I have yet to get my code ) however; I will still try them again when another imo “great” deal comes around.
