I am looking at some of the St. Thomas, St. Marrten excursions and I am wondering if a 2 year old is allowed. I know that the snorkeling, sailing or hiking, biking type adventures are not for someone so young, but like the Sapphire beach day trip is basicly just transportaion to and from the beach with a lunch buffet. The prices listed are for ages 10 and up and a child price for ages 3-9. So does this mean that a 2 year old is free or a 2 year old is not allowd? Thank you, for any input!

Confusing, isn't it? The way a CM explained it to me:

If there is no price listed, it means that your child under three is free.

If a child under 3 (or any age), is not allowed on an excursion, that indication ("Children under three are not allowed") is made the pricing column.

You should probably confirm with DCL which ones a 2 year old is allowed on. We got our excursions brochure yesterday, and it states that the number of excursions which allow children under 3 is limited, at the eastern ports.

Interesting! I called DCL twice and inquired about some of the St Maarten excursions with a 2 year old (one included the butterfly farm and the other was a Sea and See). I was told by both CM's I spoke with that a 2 year old could go, but the price would be the same as for the 3-9 age group listed. We are looking into doing something on our own.
