2-year old dining question

Hi. We are leaving Saturday.
My daughter is 2. At counter service restaurants, does she actually get a kid's meal free or does she have to eat off what I order? We are doing the Dining Plan.
Also,Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get from Wilderness Lodge to GF? Also WL to Contemporary?

The only places she will eat free and get her own plate is the buffets. you will still be paying for her at every other resteraunt unless she eats off of your plate.

The transportation times will vary on how long you wait for a boat to MK from WL then boat to GF or monorail to GF but then you're going around the whole loop for that. I would say between 20-40 minutes for getting to MK (40 only if you just missed the boat) then you are waiting for the netx boat or the lenght of the monorail.

to get to the Contemp It would be boat to MK and then the monorail or walk to the contemp. Sometime the wait for the monorail can be longer than walking over there yourself.

Just like pyrxtc posted, they can eat on their own plates at buffets or off of your plate. Anything you order extra for them, you will be charged for. We take our GD (now 2 1/2) and we pay OOP for all of her meals. We don't eat at any buffets (except WCC skillet breakfast). Her last trip, in August 07, she really ate and we bought her a kids meal at every TS and every CS location we went to. She's not interested in adult food and eats better on the kid's selection.

We took our then 17 mo. old in October and she ate off our plates the entire time. We did go to the buffet at Crystal Palace, and she got her own plate there. Really, if you order carefully it should be fine. We got more than enough food for us and her at each place we ate.

Our 1 1/2 year old ate off our plates. At Garden Grill they brought him a kids meal of his own. That was nice since he wouldn't eat what they had. At the other buffets, like Chef Mickey, we got him his own plate with what he liked. Hope you have a great time!
