DH and I are planning a trip to WDW and Universal....we have not decided whether we will take our 2 year old DD. I know she would be okay at WDW but Universal...I don't know. What is there for her to do? We will be going in December....do you think it will be warm enough to swim? I KNOW she will want to go in the pool!! Thanks in advance..Heather:wave2:

We've taken our children on vacation to US/IOA many, many times since birth and have always found enough for them to do. We've gotten a trip in with each of them before my maternity leave was over. In fact, we just visited in September with a 4week old, 6yo, 9yo and 11yo. If nothing more than enjoying the sunshine and not being bundled up, our kids have always had a blast. The theming at US/IOA is really very nice and there is a section at each park devoted to children. The sections are not as big as Fantasyland at MK but we've managed to spend quite a few lazy days there.

The weather can be kind of iffy in December, but most pools are heated so it's only when you're getting out of the pool that might be an issue for the adults -- kids don't care  .

Hope you have a great trip!

We brought our DD to Uni. at 1.5 in January a few years ago. Between the 2 parks, staying on-site for FOTL and the inteactive play areas there's plenty for them to do at that age!

When we went in January, the weather wasn't bad, so we did use the pools. Usually we wound up going to the pools around 7-8 pm. It wasn't bad at all!
