2 weeks value OR 10 days deluxe

Would you rather spend 2 week at a value with 10 day tickets and DDP or spend $150 more and do just 10 days at CR with 8 day tickets and DDP?

I spent 10 days at a Value and I wouldn't do that again!
No way could our family stay 2 weeks in a Value and live to tell about it.


To me, 10 days is the perfect length - enough time to see everything + time to relax. Staying at a Deluxe would be my choice.

10 days is the perfect length for a Disney vacation, especially in a deluxe. If you said 5 days deluxe, 10 days value, I would give you a different answer, but for us 10 days in a deluxe would be a no-brainer!

For me the decision would be the time of year. If the trip would be during the cooler less crowded week I would pick the value resort just because I would be out away from the resort enjoying activities & the parks. During the summer months I can't handle the parks for long hours so I would enjoy the deluxe.

Check out the moderates. We stay more often at the moderates!

Deluxe for sure. If we can't afford to stay moderate or rent DVC points, we will postpone trip rather than ever stay value again.

I wouldn't even have to think about it! Deluxe, hands down. Any Disney vacation longer than a week will involve downtime, especially with little kids, and a deluxe resort will give you awesome pools and beaches to enjoy it with. With such a large party, you'll want the extra space as well.

We've only considered deluxes - the value rooms seem very small. But 10 days at a Deluxe will cost you waaaay more than 14 days at a Value. Have you priced both options?
