I can make my ADR's on the 21st - our trip is mid October and we are doing the 4 day Disney Cruise first. I know this is the off season for the parks but wondering if the reservations go as fast at this time of year? Do I still need to plan to wake up at 5am CT to work on my must do ADR's? Any tips would be helpful - this is my 1st Disney trip since I was in HS and I'm really excited (not sure who is more excited at this point, DH and I or our 2 girls!!)

I always get online at 6am Eastern to try to get my most-wanted ADRs. (5am would be a challenge though) Our last trip I was able to book Crystal Palace at 8am, we were able to get in to the park an hour before it opened. :cloud9:

If you have must-do ADRs that you really want, I would go ahead and get up early and nap later. :lmao:

I go to WDW several times a year and always make ADRs at exactly 180 days out. We'll be there Oct 27th-Nov 4th and I plan on being online at 0500CT on April 30th, which is exactly 180 days out. . Now for my Sept 1st-8th trip I didn't book ADRs until just a couple of weeks ago. I just couldn't seem to get in the mood and most of the places I usually dine at now require that stupid cc guarantee, which I am not willing to do. When I did finally talk myself into booking ADRs for that trip, I was really surprised that I was able to get every single restaurant I wanted and most still had a variety of times available.

As of April 30th, I'll have ADRs booked for my upcoming May 5th-12th, Sept 1st-8th, and Oct 27th-Nov 4th trips.:rotfl::rotfl: I have too many ADR lists to keep up with and too many trip plans to juggle.:rolleyes1:rotfl: Between WDW offering bouncebacks and my dang AP, trips just keep getting booked. I swear I don't do it.:rolleyes1 Regardless of how many trips I have planned though, I always keep up with my 180 day mark for each one, to make ADRs. If there are specific places you want to eat, make your ADRs as soon as you are able. The more popular restaurants will go quickly.

I would get up at 6EST but be prepared that your reservation may not allow you to book past 180 days. I had to wait until 7AM and call to make the remainder of mine.

That is so true! Seems that the system does not recognize everyone's reservations. While some folks have been successful, there are many that are not, esp. DVC reservations (both owners and renters). It's so annoying that they don't get this fixed so that everyone can use this system in the same manner. So OP, good luck, but have a back up plan if you get to the part where you put in your information and if it doesn't recognize it, just be ready to call at 7:00. I hope it works for you, post back if it does.

This happened to me today (180 day mark!!). I got up early to book online, but it wouldn't recognize my res.# so I had to wait until 7:00AM to call. This is our first time so I was really stressed that the places we wanted would be gone, but we got everything we wanted and the times we wanted!

Thanks everyone - my DH has volunteered to wake up at 5am CT to try and do the online stuff and I will get up at 6am CT to call if needed as our backup and to book BBB for the girls as I need to know which day we get CRT before we plan that part. I was originally thinking of 4 ADR's but looking at it, we are going to cut 1 or 2 out as the trip is getting more expensive plus with the cruise 1st - I think we will be fine with some more casual stuff for this part of the trip plus we just booked the weekend before the cruise at Ron Jon's Resort so that is adding cost to the trip.
