2 Weeks out-The guests cancelled!

We have a 2 br and studio for 1/18-1/23 and 2 of the adults have cancelled. For the same number of points we can move to one 2 br at another resort or add 2 studios for a weekend night, then stay in the 2br the rest of the week. However, I saw in another post that there are no studios! Looks like I got burned! Any suggestions? I am thinking that it is too late to try and rent and there is no way that we can make it make by the end of our use year 3/31.

Wish I had a great solution for you, but I don't. I am sure others will come up with some good idea's.

You might contact MS and see if they can help you. Maybe they have someone on a wait list trying to get in?

So you have an extra studio? for that week?

Thats a school holiday week around here and there are some great fares out there. Maybe someone would rent it from you.

Where is the room? How much would yu rent it for? I might even be able to find a taker for you.

Also, explain the situation to your friends and ask them to pay the expense.

Theres someone very hot to get a studio at OKW the week before your trip. Maybe you could rent to them? its "cap56" over on the rent trade board.

I would hold them for the cash amount of the room.Who are they to you and don't they know that this is an expensive loss to you.Im sorry for what has happened to you and hope everything turns around.

You won't really know what might be available until you call MS tomorrow. You may be pleasantly surprised with what MS will be able to do for you.

Good answer Doc... It never pays to get upset until you know the full parameters of your situation.

The other thing is...life happens. I hope your guests were the recipients of some marvelous good luck resulting in the need to cancel.
