Sorry for the delay in updating! Back at work so I don't have a lot of time!
19th July 2007

We had breakfast at Donald's in AK today. Great service and we really enjoyed the food! I really liked the pancakes and breakfast pizza!

We were in DTD this afternoon and didn't feel we were hungry enough for lunch so decided to get some ice cream from Ghiraldellis (sp?)

Strawberry ice cream

Mint with chocolate sauce

Brownie sundae no cream

They were so good!

We stopped at Goofy's candy company to get some snacks (don't think we ever finished these!) they were great!

Marhsmallows, white choc, choc chips and m&ms with caramel drizzle.

Rice crispie treat with white choc and crushed oreos

mickey cookie, milk chocolate, choc chips and m&ms with white choc drizzle.

For dinner we ate at all star music food court.

We were on a shopping trip today so no food report!

21st July 2007

Breakfast at Kona

After our disappointing service here for lunch I hoped it would be better but it wasn't. Again the food was great but it lacked in service.

Tonga Toast (yum!) Had bacon but swapped colin for sausage!

We had some ice cream for lunch!

For dinner we went to Liberty Tree Tavern. We really love it here and the food was good. The character interaction was excellent!

When we got back to the hotel and I had an orange creamsicle (had vodka in it I think) but it was so creamy I really didn't like it!

While we were at DTD we had some frozen strawberry lemonade, really refreshing!

Another great meal! I got a Lapu Lapu, it was very strong!!

Loved the peanut one!

Shrimp and veggies (didn't eat these!)

Banana pudding

I'm sorry we didn't get any pics of the meats! I really liked the sausage!

Strawberry smoothies from Main Street Bakery! These were lovely!

Our last day

We had breakfast at Chef Mickey's, this was our first breakfast here and it was our best character meal. Lots of choice and good character interaction, especially Goofy who kept turning Andrew's hat round. I really liked the corn beef hash with corn bread topping.

We didn't have any lunch, were still full!

For dinner we went to Whispering Canyon Cafe, it didn't start too well when we waited 1/2 hour to be seated. We were sitting in the lobby in front of the restaurant and after 1/2 hour decided to go and ask why we had not been called. They told us they had been paging us and had no response, we explained we had just been sitting out in front and the person got a bit defensive, we were not complaining loudly!! Got seated and as this was our last meal decided to forget about it!

We ordered the skillet and it was really good, didn't like the shrimp!

Colin drank his juice so quickly our waiter brought him a huge big jar. When he finished this as well the waiter asked if I had had some, he then just shook his head when he found out Colin had drank it alone! He still brought him another one!

Andrew had an orange milkshake. He loved it!

The desserts were great!

Chocolate cake (I was told this was good!)

Overall it was a great last meal, even with the problems at the start! I am glad we kept this til last!

Final Thoughts!

We really enjoyed all our meals except from Kona, it just wasn't for us! Was good having the dining plan and we were able to get a range of snacks (it was great having the list from the DIS).

Didn't get to Peco Bill's so that is one place we will need to go to!!

We have already started planning for next year staying at Pop Century and have decided to get the deluxe dining plan, so we will try more signature dining.

We are also going to Disneyland Resort Paris at New Year time, so may do a food report after that!!

KAC2005, how generous of you to take the time and trouble to take the pictures and post a report. I really enjoyed reading and looking at the pictures. You ate at many of the places we are planning to try in a few days.

Dining plan was great for us. We are planning on booking the deluxe dining plan for next year. Just trying to get it booked but TA was shut when we went tonight!
