We used our Motorolla 2 way radios on our last trip and they worked great.
(Other than my husband losing his knob on the tower of terror!!)
Has anyone else used them and what they thought and how far they used them?
My parents have a set that we bought for them last Christmas. I'm thinking about
borrowing them for my kids (4,7) to put in their fanny packs that I plan to purchase.
Their going to be for emergencies of course. They know how to use them, etc.
Has anyone else done anything similar for their kids?

) Whenever we needed them to find each other (5 adults) there was always too much chatter from other people. One day at MGM, it was about 100 degrees and my DS (2) was hot and cranky and I wanted to leave. However, I couldn't find my MIL and SIL to tell them and get my car keys from MIL. Every time I used the radio some small and ill mannered child was mimicing me. I finally get through to my MIL but it took about twenty minutes to find them sitting in a nice cool restaurant and eating lunch.
I wanted to throw the stupid radio in the nearest lake...... Moral of the story, if you need them to keep track of wandering adults, get the more expensive radios.
