With only 14 channels and a few hundred guests using those radios simultaneously you'll be disappointed.

You might as well invest $10-15 more and get yourself affordable, decent radios with subchannels. With 14 channels and 38 subchannels for each, NOBODY finds you, believe me!

I got a pair of Cobras for my children to use around the neighborhood. Being so cheap, every kid soon got one. We could not find a single channel without some nosey kid butting in. With Bell's radios and their subchannels, we're in private heaven in the neighborhood!

Yes...please be courteous where you use them. We had to listen to someone's hospital report during one show and a 15 minute how to get somewhere so they could meet at another show. On one bus ride the lady talked on the phone during the entire 15 minute ride, the entire walk into the park and we got away from her as soon as we could. A lot of times people speak louder than necessary...a lot of people kept looking at her on the bus and she was oblivious. I do not take my phone because I am on vacation, my friends know this and we will talk when I get home. When vacationing with family we decide beforehand when and where to meet. In 5 years we have not had a problem. I would probably like radios if I had teenagers out and about on their own, but I would not interupt shows to answer.
